Alestorm are taking their pirate metal to North America next year. They will be touring in support of their new record Sunset On The Golden Age on the Piratefest America. Skogen - Debut Album To Be Re-Released

Skogen's classic debut album Vittra, originally released in 2009, will be available again in February 2015 through Nordvis. The visual presentation has experienced a major upgrade and will come with custom art by Folkingrimm Art, who was also responsible for the I Döden design. Melechesh - Unveil New Album Cover Art, Release Pushed

Mere days after they announced the first details of their new album, Melechesh have now revealed the cover art for the band's impending studio album, Enki. Furthermore, due to unforeseen productional issues, the release of Enki had to be pushed to February 27th (Europe), March 2nd (UK) and March 10th (US), 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records. Morgoth - Part Ways With Vocalist, New Album Teaser

Morgoth's founding member Marc "Groo" Grewe has left the band. The Germans recently returned to the new releases with their single God Is Evil and are working on their new record titled Ungod. However, they will move on without their long-time singer. In fact, they are already working with a new vocalist. Today, the nominations for the 57th annual Grammy Awards were announced. As usual, there is a metal category. In the best metal performance category, you find Anthrax, Mastodon, Motörhead, Slipknot, and Tenacious D. Two of those nominations are for cover songs included in the Ronnie James Dio tribute This Is Your Life.
