Motörhead recently returned to the studio to begin work on their 22nd studio album. The heavy metal legendary band released their latest album in 2013, Aftershock, but the band also faced a tough time after cancelling shows due to health issues of frontman Lemmy Kilmister. All of that seems behind them now as they are currently recording in Los Angeles with their longtime producer Cameron Web. Check out below some of the pics from the recording process.

Winterfylleth have officially announced their new guitarist, Dan Capp. He will fill the void left by guitarist Mark Wood who left the group to focus on other things. Dan Capp has already played with the band at Blastfest in Norway and on their UK tour.
Sorcerer formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1988 and was active until 1992. The doomsters got back together for a one-off show at the Hammer Of Doom festival in Germany in 2010 and has been an active band since. Experimental death metallers from Brooklyn Pyrrhon are bringing their mind-bending sonic maelstrom overseas. The band will tour Europe throughout the month of April with French grinders Department Of Correction. Samael, Necrophobic, and Gehennah are the first acts that have been confirmed for the seventh edition of the Eindhoven Metal Meeting festival, set to take place on December 11th and 12th, 2015 at the Effenaar venue in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. 29 more bands will still be added to the line-up.

Portugal's own Moonspell will release their new album, Extinct, on March 17th in North America and a few days earlier in Europe via Napalm Records. They have previously released three songs from the album, which is pretty generous. According to TMZ, founding Korn drummer David Silveria is suing his former band claiming his 2006 departure from the group was just a hiatus and that he was ready to return to the band in 2013 but they turned him away. Furthermore, David Silveria claims he still has ownership interest in Korn, and is looking for his cut of the band's profits since he left.
After leaving Megadeth, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover announced that they had formed a new band together. This new band is now taking shape. The duo are now announcing their worldwide signing to Metal Blade Records for their new group Act Of Defiance, which is rounded out by Henry Derek (ex-Scar The Martyr) on vocals and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall) on bass. They are currently recording their debut offering with renowned producer Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall). Look for this album to be released sometime this summer. Having just released a new album called Unholy Savior, Battle Beast is facing a big line-up change. After long and heavy consideration, the band has decided to go separate ways with guitarist Anton Kabanen. This is due to musical disagreements and various other unsolvable issues within the band. Kabanen has stated he will be continuing making music with other projects. The band will not be giving interviews concerning the topic. Ouch! Meanwhile, a temporary guitarist has been engaged for the upcoming shows.
