Vreid begin their week with a brand new song. The black metal group from Norway has premiered the first song from the 7th album Sólverv and it is the opening track "Haust". As promised, Skyforger have released the first video for their new album Senprūsija released in April. The song used is "Melnās Buras". It transports you back into the dark times of the Great Northern War (1700-1721), when the plague reigned over coasts of the Baltic Sea, where it killed about a third of the Prussian population. Kezia was the 2005 debut album of progressive metalcore group Protest The Hero and still remains one of their most beloved albums. The band will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with a bang and a string of shows with the original line-up. The first shows announced will happen in home turf Canada and drummer Moe Carlson as well as bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi will be returning to the stage to indulge in a little bit of nostalgia. Just one year after releasing its latest album, Earth Ground, experimental black metal project Thaw is announcing a new release, named St. Phenome Alley. This, however, won't be a conventional release. The music will be focused on the ambient/improvisation/drone territory. While Motörhead should be celebrating the release of their new album, Bad Magic, things aren't going well for Lemmy of late and in the last few years. After the band was forced to cut short a show in Salt Lake City earlier in the week after the 69 year-old frontman had some breathing problems, they ended up canceling their performance at the Riot Fest for the same reasons.
