Sunn O))) are releasing a new live album! The drone bringers will unleash a brand new triple-LP live album, captured on the band's first ever performance in Moscow last year, titled НЕЖИТЬ: живьём в России 11 августа 2015 (translated, NOLIFE: Alive In Moscow 11 August 2015). It drops via Southern Lord Recordings on May 29th in a limited pressing on three slabs of 12" vinyl housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket with a digital download code included.

Spiritual Beggars - Launch New Video Clip

The group has just wrapped up a European tour in support of their recently released 9th studio album, Sunrise To Sundown. Sabaton - Releasing New Album In August, Cover Unveiled

Swedish power metal heroes Sabaton are currently working on their new studio album, entitled The Last Stand, which is going to be released worldwide on August 19th through Nuclear Blast. The big announcement was made today and the band is working again with Peter Tägtgren on this brand new chapter in Sabaton history. The artwork on the album, available below, was made by Peter Sallaí who has been with the band since Carolus Rex.

Pain Of Salvation - To Release 'Remedy Lane Re:visited', First New Album Details

Pain Of Salvation are scheduled to re-release their 2002 classic album Remedy Lane, together with a live recording of their performance of the album from ProgPower USA 2014. Remedy Lane Re:visited (Re:mixed & Re:lived) will be released on July 1st, 2016 via InsideOutMusic. As for news on their new studio album, it will be entitled In The Passing Light Of Day and is expected to be released later in the year.

Led Zeppelin - Can Settle Stairway Lawsuit For $1 And Writing Credit

Two years ago, Led Zeppelin faced a copyright infringement claim by a lawyer for the defunct 1960s group Spirit arguing that the opening notes of their iconic song "Stairway To Heaven" sound a lot like "Taurus", an instrumental piece by the late Spirit guitarist Randy California, released on his band's debut album in 1968. Well, now the lawyers suing Led Zeppelin over claims that the opening to "Stairway To Heaven" was stolen say their client is willing to settle for the sum of $1 but there's a catch.

Kylesa - Taking A Break

Savannah sludge metallers Kylesa have informed that they will be taking a break from touring and writing new songs in the foreseeable future. While they released the lackluster album Exhausting Fire last year, they are now going on indefinite hiatus. Maybe the fire will come back again at some point.

Scorpions - Recruit Mikkey Dee To Fill In On U.S. Dates

After Motörhead's iconic frontman Lemmy died and the band dissolved, Swedish drummer Mikkey Dee had to search for other gigs and was supposed to perform with Thin Lizzy on their anniversary shows. However, he will join German iconic rockers Scorpions instead as they have hired him for their U.S. tour dates. He will replace the band's drummer James Kottak, who is currently on break while he seeks medical attention.

Muses Of Metal Fest - Cancelled

Since Emily Alice Ovenden left the band last year, Pythia have been fronted by the new singer Sophie Dorman. Unfortunately, they just announced that the Muses Of Metal Fest has been cancelled after Draconian pulled out. The festival was supposed to take place in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, on May 7th.

Adagio - To Launch Crowdfunding For New Album

What happened to Adagio's new album that was supposed to have come out years ago? Their latest, Archangels In Black, came out back in 2009 already. In 2013, they shared new demo songs and expected to release the new record that year. However, that didn't happen. The proggers are now launching a crowdfunding campaign to help with the costs as they are releasing the new album, Life, through Stéphan Forté's label Zeta Nemesis.

Evergrey - New Album Coming This Year

It looks like Evergrey fans won't have to wait that long for a new album from the Swedes. Following the success of Hymns For The Broken (2014), the progressive metallers have been recording new material for their next record since March at Top Floor Studios. The mixing was handled by Jacob Hansen. This will be Evergrey's 10th record. Let's hope it will be a special one.
