Dalriada - Announce New Album, Summer Tour And More

It is going to be a hell of a summer for Hungarian folk metallers, Dalriada. At the moment, the band has about 18 gigs scheduled in 6 different countries. In July and September, Dalriada will bring out two new albums! The first one will be only available as an addition to the July/August issue of the Hungarian Metal Hammer. This will be a "best of" album, entitled Mesék, Álmok, Regék ("Tales, Dreams, Legends") with acoustic versions of older songs, guest singers, and other interesting treats. In September, the band's new album will be out, entitled Áldás ("Blessing") with 10 songs, on which they are currently working on at the Denevér Stúdió in Szolnok, Hungary.

Attomica - Vocalist Alex Rangel Dies

Brazilian thrashers Attomica have revealed that their lead singer Alex Rangel has died unexpectedly after a motorcycle accident. He succumbed to the serious injuries sustained in the accident. The band is in grief and deep pain right now. He was very young and died at age 35.

Bolt Thrower - Set To Return To Australia After 22 Years

British death metal titans Bolt Thrower will be returning to Australia for the first time in 22 years, to play the Black Conjuration Fest, and some selected club shows. Australian outlaws Cauldron Black Ram will be joining us as national support, with other local support coming from Portal, Cruciform, Inverloch and Beyond Mortal Dreams. Timo Tolkki - Involved In New Project With Caterina Nix

Multi-instrumentalist Timo Tolkki is always involved in many projects in his career and there is a new one on the horizon. This time, Timo Tolkki will join forces with Chilean singer Caterina Nix in Chaos Magic. And Frontiers Music Srl is taking care of the impending release of their self-titled debut album on July 3rd in Europe and July 10th in North America. Find out more about Chaos Magic below. Textures - In The Studio Recording New Album

Another band is preparing a new album. This time around, it's Textures, who have officially entered the studio last week to record the follow up for their 2011 album Dualism, which will be released via Nuclear Blast Records. This will be the progressive metal band's first album with current guitarist Joe Tal, who completed the band as a six-piece again in 2013. The new album is expected to be released in early 2016. As long as it's good, right?

Shape Of Despair - Share Third Track From New Album

Threat Signal - Welcome New Guitarist, New Album Update

Threat Signal have given an update on their new album. The follow-up to Threat Signal (2011) is coming along and the melodic death metallers will start tracking the record this month. In other news, guitarist Matt Perrin has officially joined the band as a permanent member. He's been helping the band as a touring guitarist for a while now. Travis Montgomery and Matt Perrin will begin laying down tracks for the new album soon.

Wormed - Enter The Studio

Wormed have officially entered Sadman Studios in Madrid, Spain. The Spanish masters of sci-fi death metal are recording their third full-length, which will be the band's first album for Season Of Mist, following Exodromos. Cattle Decapitation - New Album Details And Song Revealed

San Diego deathgrinders Cattle Decapitation are stoked to announce the release of The Anthropocene Extinction, due out on August 7th through Metal Blade Records. The Anthropocene Extinction was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio, while long-time collaborator Wes Benscoter created the artwork. The opening track, "Manufactured Extinct", is now available for public consumption below.
