The follow-up to The Underground Resistance is coming! The Norwegians Darkthrone are working on their new album. In fact, according to Fenriz, the duo is half way finished on the record and Nocturno Culto will sing on the entire album which is more on the "heavy/black metal" side.
On November 10th, Bethesda Softworks released their new game Fallout 4, the fourth major installment in the Fallout series, and the Swedish band Katatonia makes another Easter egg appearance in one of their games! Furthermore, Katatonia have recently confirmed that they finished the drum work for the new album which is expected in 2016. They are searching for a new guitar player as session live guitarist Tomas Åkvik will leave after the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise in January.
Two members have left The Man-Eating Tree. The Finns have good and bad news to share. Firstly, they have started the writing process for new material. Even though they released a new album this year, In The Absence Of Light, the focus is already on new song ideas. Unfortunately, Antti Karhu (guitar and backing vocals) and Mikko Uusimaa (bass) have left The Man-Eating Tree. They also shared a brand new video which can be watched here.
Danish thrash warriors Artillery will perform in Mexico and South America next year. They have confirmed four shows from May 13th-26th 2016. The band has been working on their new album, so they might play some new songs too! See the tour dates below. Sludging doomsters Fórn have just released a new EP called Weltschmerz. This is their first release which follows their 2014 debut The Departure Of Consciousness. Savannah's Black Tusk have faced an immense and unexpected tragedy in late 2014 when founding bassist/vocalist Jonathan Athon passed away after a motorcycle accident in his hometown. Now, as a testament to his lasting legacy on the heavy music scene, the band is releasing Pillars Of Ash, their final recordings with Athon, on January 29th, 2016 via Relapse Records. Bucovina have revealed their new album's cover and you can take a look at it below. The folk metallers are set to release their new album, Nestrămutat, this December although not as planned since the original release concert venue was going to be the Colectiv, where a recent tragic fire happened. The release will now be on the 12th of December 2015, during a release event at TY Events Hall in Bucharest.

The new Norwegian black metal band Nordjevel has announced that bassist Svein-Ivar Sarassen, aka DezeptiCunt, will join them as a permanent bassist. He is know as the bassist of Ragnarok and Quadrivium. Nordjevel recently announced their debut album, Nordjevel which is being released next year.
American hardcore outfit Vision Of Disorder are about to release their new album worldwide, on November 27th via Candlelight Records. It's called Razed To The Ground, it was produced by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Demon Hunter, Rob Zombie), and is the band's second recording for Candlelight Records. Enjoy the entire piece via Bandcamp.
The gothic doomsters Paradise Lost have released the brilliant The Plague Within this year and their latest release is the live album/DVD Symphony For The Lost. Filmed and recorded in September 2014, Symphony For The Lost captures Paradise Lost performing at the epic Ancient Roman Theatre of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, featuring the Orchestra of State Opera Plovdiv and Rodna Pesen Choir. The outfit has now launched a live video for the song "Victim Of The Past" which appears on the DVD and on the new album as well. Watch their performance here.
Disturbed came back with a bang from their hiatus. With a new album released and tours scheduled (Australia, New Zealand and North America), the successful Immortalized is keeping them busy. Amaranthe recently revealed that the band's new album will arrive in 2016. Singer Elize Ryd and guitarist/keyboardist Olof Mörck were interviewed by Louder Noise TV, where they confirmed the news. Their latest album, Massive Addictive, came out in 2014 and this year they also released Breaking Point - B-Sides 2011-2015. However, they are not showing signs of slowing down by no means. They are working on a new album and it is expected to be out next year.
