Recently, sludge legends Eyehategod have been announced. They will play two sets. Dutch prog rock legends Focus have been confirmed for Houses of the Holistic, Ivar Bjørnson's and Einar "Kvitrafn" Selvik's curated Roadburn. Tombs and Black Anvil are also confirmed. Today, Thou, Acid Witch, The Tower, Golden Grass and The Picturebooks were announced.

Polish extremers Behemoth are touring hard all over the globe this year, where they present their latest product The Satanist, released back in February. To proceed this journey, the band confirmed another set of dates for the European Satanist Tour - Part II, to be executed in April 2015. This time, the main support on all dates will come from Swiss black/death metal duo Bölzer. The tour will mainly cover the Central and Balkan part of Europe.
Tasmanian technical death metal maestros Psycroptic are seeing their first three albums hit vinyl for the first time in history in a box set collection, entitled The Early Years, produced by Finnish label Blood Music. The Mexican deathgrind unit Brujeria are back and just announced a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment with plans to record a new album for 2015. Swedish power metal force HammerFall have announced a partnership with NHL hockey team Minnesota Wild. The players of the NHL team began the 2014-15 season extremely well with two shut-outs against the Colorado Avalanche, and they will get a special heavy metal HammerFall welcome at all the home games at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The team is using an instrumental version of the song "Fury Of The Wild" from the band as an intro.
