Riot - Reveal New Vocalist

Riot have a new vocalist. The American band lost their founding member/guitarist Mark Reale last year but announced they were working on a new album earlier this year. Now they have announced Todd Michael Hall as their new singer and will carry on the Riot legacy.

Metallica - 'Through The Never' Film Coming On DVD

If you didn't get a chance to get to the theater to see Metallica's 3D movie Through The Never, soon you will be able to watch it in the comfort of your own home. The home version of the film will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-Ray, digitally and V.O.D. (Video On Demand) on January 28th, 2014 through the band's very own label, Blackened Recordings.

Behemoth - Final Teaser For New EP, Album Release Date Set

Today you can hear a few seconds of new music from Polish death metal giants Behemoth as they continue to tease their new EP and video for the single "Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel". The 12" EP of Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel will be released on December 4th and so will the new video. It has also been confirmed that the new opus The Satanist will be unleashed on February 3rd in the UK and Europe, February 4th in North America, and February 7th in Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Italy.

The Unguided - Share New Album Title, Art And More

Melodic death metallers The Unguided, the band created by former members of Sonic Syndicate and Dead By April, have announced the first details of the follow-up to the debut Hell Frost. Their second album will be called Fragile Immortality, and it will be out in late January/early February 2014 via Napalm Records, their new label. Hypocrisy - Bassist Sits Out European Tour

Swedish death metallers Hypocrisy are currently terrorizing European stages with Heaven Shall Burn, Dying Fetus and Bleed From Within but for "personal reasons", bassist Mikael Hedlund is sitting out the tour. Filling in for him is André Skaug of Clawfinger. The tour started on November 20th in Germany and will continue until December. The Swedes will showcase their new album End Of Disclosure.

Silent Force - New Album Samples Online

Gamma Ray - Studio Destroyed In Hamburg Fire

A major fire in Hamburg, Germany has destroyed the Hammer Studios of Eike Freese, Kai Hansen and Dirk Schlächter. The studio has burnt to the ground, so have the rehearsal rooms of the Hamburg bands Gamma Ray, Dark Age, Brothers In Arms, ChainReAction, Black Hawk, A Million Miles, Sambódromo, Kamizaraky, The Golden Creek and Cate's Leila, of which many didn't have insurance for their equipment. Luckily, nobody was injured severely although some people suffered slight smoke poisoning and two people barely made it out of the burning building.

Benighted - Set New Album Title And Release Date

The last album Benighted released was called Asylum Cave and came out in 2011. However, 2014 will be an important year for the band because it will see the release of their new album. Now we know that the group named their forthcoming album Carnivore Sublime.
