French doom metallers Monolithe have unveiled the cover artwork that will grace their upcoming album. Take a look at it below, it was created by At The Ends. Monolithe IV will contain one long track (surprised?) which the band describes as: "...a cosmic trip offering over 55 minutes of perfectly-orchestrated doom, controlled from one edge to another, never interrupted by silence. More dense and more powerful than even its glorious predecessors..."

Oranssi Pazuzu - Streaming New Song

Týr - Debut Another New Song

Valkyrja is the new and seventh full-length album from the Faroe Islands band Týr. The album will be released on September 17th in North America (one day earlier internationally) via Metal Blade Records and recently the folk metallers decided to release for streaming "Another Fallen Brother". This is the third song unveiled from the new opus and can now be streamed using the Soundcloud widget below.

Century Media has announced the signing of heavy metallers Kill Devil Hill to their family of artists. The band - Rex Brown (Pantera), Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath, Heaven And Hell), Mark Zavon and Dewey Bragg - have signed a multi-album deal for North America and will make their Century Media debut with the release of their second album this fall.

It has been confirmed by Roadburn festival and Opeth that frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt has agreed to curate Roadburn Festival 2014 on Friday, April 11th at the 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands. As curator, Mikael will personally select the bands for his special event, and play a headline show with Opeth too. It promises to be a celebration of progressive rock, psychedelic folk, the heavy 70s and beyond.
