Iron Maiden - To Headline Spanish Sonisphere In Madrid & Barcelona

Iron Maiden will headline the two Sonisphere festivals in Spain this summer and thus play in almost every single summer festival in Europe this year. Austrian symphonic metallers Visions Of Atlantis have finally unveiled that their new album Ethera will be out on March 22th in Europe and April 9th in North America. The album was produced and mixed by Frank Pitters and Jakob Grabmayr at the Wildonemusic Studios while the mastering has been done by Mika Jussila at the renowned Finnvox Studios. Lacuna Coil - Former Guitarist Claudio Leo Passes Away

Lacuna Coil's vocalist Cristina Scabbia announced today that former bandmate and guitarist Claudio Leo, who played with the band from 1995-1998 (including a performance on the band's demo under the moniker Ethereal and the 1998 self-titled EP) has passed away. The cause of death was not disclosed and no other information was offered so far.
