Tristania - Begin Recording New Album

Norwegian gothic metal force Tristania is back in the studio to start recording the successor to Rubicon. Tristania's seventh full-length album is set to be released through Napalm Records in late May this year. The first part of the recording sessions (drums) will go ahead in Tanken Studio with engineer Fredrik Wallumrød, before the band moves to another studio where they will join the producer of the album. The band promises to release studio reports regularly throughout the process.

Skyforger - New Album Update

Folk black metallers Skyforger have been preparing their new album and follow-up to 2010's Kurbads. Recently, the band shared the first details about it and confirmed that the writing process is nearly finished. When they are done, the band will then record it and expect to release it in the autumn of 2013.

Illdisposed - New Video Released

Illdisposed released their latest death metal attack Sense The Darkness last year under Massacre Records. The Danish band shares with us now a new video for the song "Eyes Popping Out" from that same album. The video was directed by the well-known artist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie (and Mnemic guitarist) and can be watched at this location.

Attacker - New Song Online

American metallers Attacker have released a brand new song from their upcoming new output Giants Of Canaan. You can listen to "Trapped In Black" on the video below. Giants Of Canaan is expected to come out this February. The band should announce the label that will be releasing it soon as well as the artwork.

Royal Thunder - New Video Online, North American Tour Announced

Engel - Recruit New Singer

Swedish metallers Engel have recruited Mikael Sehlin (Degradead) as their new lead singer. He will replace Magnus Klavborn, who parted ways with the band last year. Mikael Sehlin has previously performed with Engel on some festival appearances.

Subsignal - Reveal New Album Title
