The Haunted - Vocalist Peter Dolving Leaves The Band

Vocalist Peter Dolving has announced that he has officially left Swedish thrash metallers The Haunted. In the following post on his Facebook page, Dolving explicitly said he will not divulge the reasons for his departure: "I am officially quitting The Haunted. After years of working with the band, I am out. I have had it. I will not answer questions to why. It's no one else's business. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to seeing you people at other shows with other projects."

The band has also released the following statement on their official website confirming the departure: "Peter has decided to leave The Haunted permanently. We don't have any more news or info for you regarding this at the moment, but stay tuned for future updates... We just wanted to put and end to all the rumors out there."

W.A.S.P. - Announce Confirmed European Dates On 30 Years Of Thunder Tour

After announcing their 30th Anniversary world tour, US heavy metallers W.A.S.P. have now confirmed their tour schedule for Europe with tour dates in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Portugal. Previously, dates had been announced for Norway, Finland and Estonia with Badmouth.

Ephel Duath - In The Studio

Italian metallers Ephel Duath are working on their new EP, due in summer 2012 via their recently-signed deal with Agonia Records.

In a video filmed at Sharkbyte Studios (Machine Head, Exodus, High On Fire) in Oakland, California, drummer Marco Minnemann plays an extract from the song "Stardust Rain" and bass legend Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Testament, Sadus, Obscura) plays the intro of the song "Black Prism".

Erik Rutan will mix the EP at his Mana Recording Studio (Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal) in San Petersburg, Florida. Alan Douches will master the material at West West Side Music (Death, Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Clutch) in New York.

Architects - New Album Cover Art Revealed

British metallers Architects will release their new album, entitled Daybreaker, on May 28 in Europe and June 5 in North America via Century Media Records.

The follow-up to The Here And Now was produced by the band with John Mitchell and Ben Humphreys at Outhouse Studios in Reading, the same team that previously worked on Architects' Hollow Crown CD. The cover artwork for the album was created by Paul Jackson (Tank.Axe.Love).

Nightwish - To Release Tour Edition Of Imaginaerum

Finnish symphonic metallers Nightwish have announced the release of a Tour Edition of the band's new album Imaginaerum on April 13th. This special edition will contain two CDs and one DVD in a slipcase digibook. Additionally, there will be a 2LP release of the orchestral version on black or crystal vinyl in a gatefold. This orchestral version is new and not the instrumental mix found on the initial Imaginaerum 2CD releases.

Lamb Of God - Forced To Cancel Show In Brazil Due To Scheduling Conflict

US groove thrash metallers Lamb Of God have cancelled the band's previously announced show in Curitiba, Brazil. The following press release was issued about the cancellation: "Liberation Music Company is very sorry to announce that, due to irreversible logistics problems, Lamb Of God's appearance in Curitiba, Brazil, with Hatebreed and Lacuna Coil on April 1st had to be cancelled."

The song is featured on the band's new compilation of re-mastered classics and rarities entitled All Tomorrow's Funerals, released on February 20th via Peaceville Records. All Tomorrow's Funerals contains re-mastered versions of all Autopsy's past EP's from Retribution For The Dead to The Tomb Within, plus four new tracks.
