Multinational melodic / funeral doom outfit Aeonian Sorrow premiere the digital version of the band's EP, A Life Without, which will land in stores physically on February 7th. The EP was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios in Finland (with vocals recorded both there and at STV Studios in Greece, and drums recorded at AllSound Studios in London). Swedish death metal diggers Puteraeon announced that their former guitarist Hans Sörensen has passed away. He played with the band between 2009 and 2010, and also in Cult Of The Headless Witch. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

It was tracked at Flatline Audio in Denver with long-serving producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage), Apoptosis is Allegaeon's fifth full-length, and the first to feature bassist Brandon Michael.
