Anaal Nathrakh - New Album Almost Complete

Anaal Nathrakh are approximately 70% finished with the recording of their new album. The following may help plug the gaping hole between now and its release:

Owing to the lack of regard for decency shared by Mordgrimm and Earache records, the labels have decided to mutually re-release Anaal Nathrakh's 'The Codex Necro' and 'When Fire Rains Down From The Sky, Mankind Will Reap As It Has Sown' (label will vary according to territory). To further extend the list of various justifications for their respective punishment, obliteration and damnation, those concerned have chosen to augment these versions of the recordings by the inclusion of the following:

The Codex Necro will have bonus tracks comprising the Peel Session recorded for the late John Peel's legendary radio show at the BBC studios at the great man's personal request. These include the first ever performance of 'The Oblivion Gene,' later to appear in its full re-recorded form on the subsequent album Domine Non Es Dignus. No, that doesn't mean this session was the first recording of the song, it means it was the first performance EVER, the song was never even rehearsed before this recording session.

When Fire... is reissued with the inclusion of Anaal Nathrakh's full live band debut, the Rock Show live session recorded for the BBC radio show of the same name. Notable in this instance, alongside performances from Ventnor and Chemical Nova, are the appearances of Emburyonymous making its live debut for the band, and Nick Barker who bastardised for this recording alone.

The releases are simultaneous for the American territory on the 18th of April, and releases in other territories will follow in the weeks after this date.
