A whole lot of touring will be going on for As I Lay Dying in last four months of 2019. First, they will hit Latin American countries in first half of September. Soon after, European tour is on the menu (announced already in April). And the last part in November/December will see the band coming back to the States' for a full one-month long headlining run, where they will be supported by After The Burial and Emmure.

As I Lay Dying's vocalist and founding member Tim Lambesis has broken the silence and released a lengthy statement apologizing for his actions. Lambesis made the news a few years ago and spent two years in prison after he pled guilty to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. He attempted to hire an undercover cop posing as a hitman at the time to murder his then wife, Meggan Lambesis, back in 2013. Speaking for the first time since his release from prison in December 2016, Tim Lambesis took to the band's Facebook page to express his remorse.

According to reports, he has been released from prison in December after serving less than half of his six-year sentence. The other members of As I Lay Dying went on to form Wovenwar.

As hinted before, Metal Blade Records has announced that Jordan Mancino (drums), Nick Hipa (guitar), Phil Sgrosso (guitar) and Josh Gilbert (bass) of San Diego based metal act As I Lay Dying have teamed up with vocalist Shane Blay (previously lead guitar/clean vocals in Oh, Sleeper) to create the new band Wovenwar. That's As I Lay Dying minus Tim Lambesis. Over approximately the last year, the band completed work on new material recorded with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) with mixing duties currently being handled by Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium). After an update was posted on As I Lay Dying official website, now it has been revealed by the band's other members that it was not discussed within the band or with the management, implying the statement was released only by Tim Lambesis. On a message posted on guitarist Nick Hipa's Facebook page, all the members of As I Lay Dying except Tim Lambesis explain that this statement was new to them. Well, that was bizarre.

ABC10 and other sources are reporting that Tim Lambesis, the lead singer of metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying, who is accused of trying to arrange the murder of his estranged wife, posted bail and is out of jail. He left the Vista Detention Facility yesterday, according to authorities. Bail for the As I Lay Dying frontman was lowered from $3 million to $2 million a few weeks ago.

UPDATE on 10.05.2013: There have been new developments on the Tim Lambesis' case. Remember that he was arrested for allegedly seeking the help of an undercover detective to have his estranged wife killed. UT San Diego is now reporting that he has pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Vista Superior Court to a single count of solicitation for murder. He faces up to nine years in prison if convicted.
