At the moment, Baroness are touring in Europe to present their new album, Purple. It was brought to their attention that Rosie Solomon, a fan of the band who attended their show in Birmingham on February 29th, wrote about her awful experience at the show, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted. The band decided to share her story online and slam the fan who did this. Props to the band for condemning this and not sweeping it under the rug, and to Rosie Solomon for taking a stand.

Currently in the midst of a five-week European trek, Baroness will return to North America this spring, confirming their first national tour since the release of the band's critically acclaimed fourth album, Purple. The tour, which includes stops at the Sasquatch, Project Pabst and Shaky Knees festivals, kicks off on April 29th at the Royale in Boston before wrapping up at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on June 3rd. After announcing North American headlining tour dates in support of their latest album Yellow & Green, Baroness have confirmed the European leg of the 2013 headlining tour and the EP release of Live At Maida Vale on July 19th in Germany/Benelux, July 22nd in the UK/world and July 23rd in North America via Relapse Records. Royal Thunder will support the band in these European shows excluding October 3rd and 6th, and the band will return to England where they were involved in a tour bus accident last year.

John Baizley and Pete Adams will be joined by Nick Jost (bass) and Sebastian Thomson (drums) which replace Matt Maggioni and Allen Blickle who recently left the band.
