Swedish technical thrash metallers Meshuggah have announced a string of North American tour dates with special guests Decapitated and Baroness, starting on April 29th in Houston.
Meshuggah's drummer Tomas Haake stated: "We're really stoked to be coming back again! A new album and two really awesome bands to join us on our trek across the U.S. and Canada! There's one word that comes to mind: Sweet!"
Mastodon have announced their spring headline tour of North America which will begin April 16, 2010. The tour, presented by Volcom, will feature support from special guests Between The Buried And Me, Baroness and Valient Thorr. This tour will bring the band to the fans in American cities that have yet to experience the Crack The Skye live event.

Their second full-length and follow-up to 2007's Red Album was recorded in Dallas, TX with producer / engineer John Congleton (Exolsions In The Sky, The Polyphonic Spree, Black Mountain) and will see an October 2009 international release date. Baroness will be working with the Grammy-nominated producer / engineer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, The Polyphonic Spree, The Roots,
Buddy Miles, Black Mountain) on the band's second full-length. The still untitled album is expected to see a fall 2009 release date.
