The Polish death metal tank Behemoth has launched a brand new video for the title track from The Satanist on the band's homepage. The video, directed by Andrzej Dragan, is another ambitious piece. The group is still touring in support of their latest album and will perform in Australia this month with Watain and Bølzer and later in Europe in early 2016 with Abbath, Entombed A.D. and Inquisition. The death metallers recently joined forces with director Zev Deans for the video. The Brooklyn based director brings a visually dark and surreal atmosphere to the song from their latest album The Satanist. Behemoth's infamous frontman Nergal was recently interviewed by the New Times Broward Palm Beach and he had a few interesting things to share. While the Polish death metallers are currently touring in North America, Nergal has also been working on a "very stripped down and simple" solo project with acoustic-based stuff. The guitarist/vocalist also confirmed that he doesn't know when Behemoth will work on a new album or if that will happen at all.

Behemoth just finished touring their home country of Poland. Eight of the nine shows went flawlessly but one show in Poznan was cancelled due to political reasons, according to the band. Well, now the band will be releasing a 12" vinyl EP entitled Xiadz which contains the previously unreleased tracks "Xiadz" from The Satanist recording session, "Towards The Dying Sun We March" from the Evangelion recording session, and also the re-recorded song "Moonspell Rites". After being booted out of Russia, Behemoth now face a show cancellation in their home country of Poland, in Poznan. The death metal group was originally set to perform on October 2nd at Poznan's Eskulap venue, which also serves as a student dormitory at Poznan University Of Medical Sciences, but the concert was moved to October 6th after the university authorities decided that the original date coincided with the start of the academic year. Their promoter received a letter from Jacek Wysocki, president of Poznan University Of Medical Sciences, stating the event would not go ahead due to "a concern for the safety of students and campus workers." But Behemoth claims it was for political reasons.

Behemoth have revealed that Sacrum Profanum, the autobiography of frontman Nergal, will likely receive an English language release in 2015. They are negotiating the deal with English book publisher Jawbone (Cliff Burton, Randy Rhoads, Max Cavalera) for Nergal's autobiography Sacrum Profanum: The Confession Of The Heretic. According to the death metallers' frontman, the translation is going through the editing process right now.
