Black Sabbath - Final Shows Announced In UK

As you know, Black Sabbath are currently on their farewell tour. Recently, they have announced the last three headlining concerts added to the final North American leg of their massive 2016 The End world tour. The iconic heavy metal band will play their last show ever in the U.S. on November 12th at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. However, for their final eight shows, Black Sabbath return home to close the final chapter in their incredible story. The end will be in Birmingham, of course.

Black Sabbath - Postpone Shows Due To Ozzy's Illness

Black Sabbath's farewell tour isn't going as smoothly as they would have hoped. The band has postponed their performance in Vancouver, Canada as well as Edmonton and Calgary due to Ozzy's condition. Their next performance will be on Saturday, February 6th in Tacoma, Washington. According to his wife, Sharon Osbourne, the canceled shows are in the process of being rescheduled, and Ozzy Osbourne will be rejoining the band on Saturday.

Black Sabbath - Tommy Clufetos Confirmed For Farewell Tour, To Release EP

England's long living metal legends, Black Sabbath, formed in 1968 in Birmingham. Three original members, except for drummer Bill Ward, will hit the road soon for their farewell tour. They are taking drummer Tommy Clufetos with them, and he has already performed with the band on tour in 2013. Furthermore, Black Sabbath is releasing a new EP called The End on January 20th.

Black Sabbath - Add Second Leg Of North American Tour

While we still don't know who will be behind the drumkit on Black Sabbath, the legendary English band from Aston, Birmingham will embark on their farewell tour next year. Due to overwhelming demand, the road to The End just got longer. After adding some European dates to the trek, the heavy metallers have now added more dates to their North American tour. These shows will follow a mix of summer headlining and festival performances throughout Europe.

Download Festival 2016 - Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath And Rammstein Headlining

UK's Download Festival 2016 brought the big guns and announced their three big headliners for 2016. The triple-threat bill includes the headliners for next year's Download Festival: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Rammstein. Rammstein will headline the Friday night. Black Sabbath will return to Donington to headline the Saturday night. Their appearance at Download Festival will form part of their worldwide The End tour, as they sign off their 50-year career. Iron Maiden will headline the Sunday night of Download Festival 2016. The British metal gods will headline Castle Donington for the sixth time on June 12th, 2016, and they'll be arriving at the festival site in true Maiden style.

Black Sabbath - The End Tour Euro Dates Announced

After announcing the first dates of their farewell tour for North America, Australia and New Zealand, heavy metal legends Black Sabbath have finally announced European tour dates as well. Black Sabbath's farewell tour begins on January 20th, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever. The Euro tour includes some festival appearances as well. See the shows scheduled so far below where the U.K. is still not included for now.

Black Sabbath - Announce The End Farewell Tour

Black Sabbath have surprised fans today by announcing their farewell tour. The end is near, my friend. Frontman Ozzy Osbourne had revealed last year that there would be a farewell tour and album from the legendary band. At least the tour part has now been confirmed. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible Black Sabbath story. The band's farewell tour begins on January 20th, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever. See the dates announced so far!

Black Sabbath - Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan Canceled

It turns out Black Sabbath's Japanese "farewell" performance at this year's Ozzfest Japan has been canceled. Also, no explanation was given for this. However, festival attendees will still get Ozzy Osbourne, he will perform with his solo act plus some special friends. The Black Sabbath farewell show caused some confusion among fans and the media, unsure if the performance was their final show in Japan or the band's final show.

Black Sabbath - To Play Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan 2015

Black Sabbath will close out Ozzfest Japan in Makuhari Messe outside Tokyo in Japan on November 22nd. The announcement was made by Sharon Osbourne who calls it their "farewell." Last year, frontman Ozzy Osbourne said that the next Sabbath album, the follow-up to 2013's 13, would be their last with a tour to go with it. So far, no other dates have been announced and there's been no mention of the album being ready.

Black Sabbath - Bassist Geezer Butler Arrested After Bar Brawl

Black Sabbath's bassist Geezer Butler was put behind bars after he apparently got into a bar brawl in Death Valley, California on Tuesday night. The heavy metal legend was arrested on charges of misdemeanor assault, public intoxication and vandalism. The incident occurred at the Corkscrew Saloon in Death Valley National Park. According to a sheriff's report, an argument led to "an individual being struck" and a "broken window." Butler spent the night in jail and was subsequently released following a detox and citation.

Black Sabbath - To Release New Album And Tour Again

Despite the hints that Black Sabbath's show at London's Hyde Park this last July could be their last, the heavy metal legends will be touring again, according to frontman Ozzy Osbourne. The 56th annual Grammy Awards happened last night in Los Angeles and the winners are known. Black Sabbath took home the award for "Best Metal Performance" for "God Is Dead?", from their comeback album 13. Anthrax, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage and Volbeat were also nominated in that category.

Black Sabbath - Extend Tour Into 2014

More Black Sabbath shows! Following gigs in North and South America, Australia, Asia and now Europe (which kicks off on November 20th in Helsinki, Finland), Black Sabbath have announced additional shows in North America and Europe in 2014. The 2014 North American dates launch on March 31st at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will hit ten cities in Canada, including stops in Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton, before wrapping on April 26th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.
