Grindcore legends Napalm Death have announced two special projects that have been in the works recently. First of all, the British band is launching a special cover song of the track "To Go Off And Things" by the Cardiacs via their Bandcamp page as charity download. Furthermore, Napalm Death are also releasing a limited and exclusive vinyl 12" EP entitled Our Pain Is Their Power to commemorate their very special Roadburn Festival appearance on April 10th.
After announcing that they would perform on home turf at UK's Download Festival, SikTh have announced their second show of the year. The British metallers will headline the Euroblast festival in Cologne, taking place from October 2nd-4th, 2014. This will be SikTh's first ever show in Germany.

Death's 1988 masterpiece and second album Leprosy will be the next record to get the deluxe reissue treatment from Relapse Records. The band's classic remastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Nile, etc.) will feature more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased demos and rehearsal material plus brand new liner notes and a 24 page booklet with never before seen photos. It seems like the Maryland Deathfest XII will not be graced by the performance of the Norwegians Ulver. The band was forced to cancel the upcoming show in Moscow in April and the performance at Maryland Deathfest due to health problems with one of its members.
Swedish outfit Deathstars has announced that the upcoming March/April European tour Claws Through Europe has been postponed and rescheduled. The reason for this is that the band's upcoming album has been pushed back too. All the information about the new album including title, tracklist, cover and release date are yet to be revealed at this point.
"Left For Dead", the new video from San Francisco Bay Area thrash metallers Death Angel, has been unveiled. The clip was directed by Tommy Jones, who has previously worked with Soilwork and Testament, among others. The song is taken from the band's recently released seventh studio album The Dream Calls For Blood, and comes on the verge of their upcoming tour with Children Of Bodom. Napalm Death and Keith Harrison's live performance collaboration, Bustleholme, is taking place this Friday, November 29th. Originally planned to feature at the V&A Museum (London) in March, the Bustleholme project has been given a new life amongst the Modernist setting of the De La Warr Pavillion. The band will play a special live set through an experimental sculptural sound system constructed by Harrison. As the band starts to play, the raw-energy of the sound produced will reverberate inside the clay, causing it to slowly crack, disintegrate and explode, changing the music as it does.
