Five Finger Death Punch are joining forces with In This Moment and Papa Roach for a North American tour later this year. Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach co-headline the tour. In an innovative move, both bands actively involved the fans by giving them the opportunity to request the tour come to their city via a "demand campaign". 1.5 million people responded to the call to action and made their voices heard. Death Angel - Releasing New DVD And Live Album

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans Death Angel will release the aptly titled A Thrashumentary on July 24th via Nuclear Blast. The DVD was directed, shot and edited by Tommy Jones (Kataklysm, Soilwork, Lamb Of God, Carcass, Testament) of Videohammer Studios and is a documentary on the band and the thrash scene. The release will also include a full live album entitled The Bay Calls For Blood.

Five Finger Death Punch - Melt Down On Stage, Deny Break Up Rumors

Trouble in paradise? Five Finger Death Punch had a meltdown onstage during the band's performance in Memphis, Tennessee as part of the Beale Street Music Festival. Reportedly, the band cut its performance short after roughly six songs and walking off stage. This led some fans to speculate they were breaking up. However, the Los Angeles metallers have already dismissed these rumors. The band's frontman, Ivan Moody, has suggested that it was all due to technical problems and that the band fired some of their crew.

Death - Former Bassist Scott Clendenin Dies

Sad news to report as former Death's bassist Scott Clendenin has passed away. He was a bassist in the seminal death metallers for a few years and also played in Chuck Schuldiner's other band Control Denied. Scott Clendenin had some health challenges in the last few years. He played on Death's The Sound Of Perseverance album, and recently participated in two Death To All live runs, in 2012 and 2013, including the highlight of his acoustic guitar in a poignant rendition of "Voice Of The Soul". Our condolences to his family and friends.

Wayne Static - Death Caused By Mix Of Prescription Drugs & Alcohol

At the end of last year, shocking news came that 48-year-old Static-X frontman Wayne Static had passed away and at the time not many details were revealed about his death. Now, a few months later, it has been confirmed by the official coroner's report that he died as a result of mixing Xanax and other prescription drugs with alcohol. The coroner's report lists the official cause of death as "mixed prescription drug (oxycodone, hydromorphone, alprazolam) with alcohol toxicity" and the "manner of death" is stated as "natural."

Moonspell - N. American Tour With Septicflesh, Deathstars
