While I could have sworn the upcoming Cradle Of Filth album would be called All Hallows Eve, the band now revealed it will be Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa instead.

Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa will be released in North America on November 9 via Nuclear Blast Records. The record will be available in European stores on October 22 through Peaceville Records on the band's own AbraCadaver.

In an April press release, Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa was described as "a full-blown concept album, based on Adam's first wife, the lascivious Demoness Lilith; throwing Medieval nuns, Knights Templars, Greek mythology and lashings of sex, occult lore and violent bloodshed into the smelting pot, to create a darkly erotic nightmare set to their unique scope of supreme vampyric metal."

Serbian death metallers Disdained - who broke up back in April after 3 years in existence - are now offering their last unreleased effort, aptly entitled The Last Opus for free download. All you have to do is click on the flyer on this page to download the 6 six titles.

The MCD was recorded at the Positive Family Studio, Serbia in 2009, and was recorded, mixed and mastered by Sa?a Bojanić and the band. The Last Opus also features several guest appearances including a guitar solo from Steffen Kummerer (Obscura), screams from Avenger vocalist Honza Kapak and keyboards by Urok (May Result).

Commented the band: "As you all know, we split up a few months back. Although we recorded our second full-length album, we never got it released. So we are putting it up for free download.

We would like to thanks everyone who supported us throughout the years, who came to our gigs, and enjoyed our music. Richie Pony, the debut album of Romanian experimental project Dwarf Planet, is now available for download exclusively on Metalhead.ro, free of charge of course. The entire creative process of Richie Pony took place between 2008-2010. The recording, mixing and mastering was done with the help of Alex Dragomir, guitarist of the band.

Richie Pony contains 10 purely experimental songs featuring a concept that binds classic elements of metal, hardcore, alternative rock, rock 'n roll and a slight tinge of avantgarde.

This is what Dwarf Planet said themselves about the material: "Richie Pony is the result of a process that took about two years, during which we recorded and re-recorded, added ideas constantly until it reached a line that defines us all. We can not classify it, it is a personal vision transposed into reality and hopefully open-minded people will understand exactly what Richie Pony means, both musically and conceptually.

We re-recorded, recomposed, rearranged. The voices were a big issue, we can say that we have one of the most complex vocal arrangements made in recent years in Romania. We are extremely proud of what we accomplished."

Inspired by all things dark and dirty, including 70's heavy metal, and 90's grunge/stoner rock, the three-song EP can be downloaded at this location.

"We had always seen the EP as a way to distribute our music for free to as many people as possible - it's a basic primer on who Shroud Eater is as a band, and hopefully it left people curious and interested in hearing what we can really bring to the table," states guitarist/vocalist Jeannie Saiz.
