Ensiferum - Announce First Ever Acoustic Tour

After performing several shows in Finland and recording a bonus Live DVD, which is available together with the recent album Two Paths, released in September, 2017 by Metal Blade Records, Ensiferum will present their acoustic show for the first time in Europe live. The tour will run from December 4th, 2018 through December 22nd, 2018. In addition to playing some songs that never have been played outside of Finland, Ensiferum will present the acoustic version of selected songs from their repertoire.

Ensiferum - Cancel Bolivian Show, Add Show In Chile

Finnish folk metal troubadours Ensiferum are about to embark on a Latin American tour but they announced that the Bolivian show, which was supposed to happen on November 15th, has been canceled. The group is touring in support of the freshly released new album, Two Paths. However, a new show has been added in Temuco, Chile on the same day.

Ensiferum - Reveal New Song 'King Of Storms'

Ensiferum - Share Live Acoustic Video

On September 15th, Ensiferum will release their seventh full-length, Two Paths, worldwide via Metal Blade Records. In anticipation of this release, the band has now launched a live acoustic version of "Two of Spades" (from their previous album, One Man Army). "Two Of Spades" was recorded live at "On the Rocks" in Helsinki, Finland on October 28th, 2016. You can watch the entire live show on the DVD that comes with the CD version of the upcoming Two Paths.

Ensiferum - Launch Video For New Song 'Way Of The Warrior'

Finnish Ensiferum are releasing their upcoming album, Two Paths, on the 15th of September through Metal Blade Records. A video for the new song "Way Of The Warrior" has just been launched. Ensiferum - Begin Work On New Studio Album

Ensiferum recently entered the Astia studio in Lappeenranta, Finland, where the band recorded a few demo songs for their upcoming seventh full-length, set to be released September 2017 via Metal Blade Records. This means that the quintet will soon return to the Astia studio to begin recording this new album, which will be produced once again by Anssi Kippo (Children Of Bodom, Impaled Nazarene, Entwine).

Sadly, Ensiferum have announced the departure of keyboardist Emmi Silvennoinen, who has been in the band since 2009. Due to family reasons, she will be stepping out from keyboard duties, with Netta Skog continuing as a permanent member of Ensiferum.

Ensiferum - To Tour North America With Korpiklaani And Trollfest

A folk metal treat for the North American fans! Finland's Ensiferum are pleased to announce a North American tour with country mates Korpiklaani and Norway's Trollfest for this May. The tour kicks off on May 6th 2015 at the infamous House of Blues in Los Angeles where the band will start promoting their new album One Man Army, which will be issued on Tuesday, February 24th via Metal Blade Records. Ensiferum - Team Up With Spotify To Bring New Album In Its Entirety

The Finnish folk metallers Ensiferum have partnered up with Spotify to bring fans their new album One Man Army in its entirety. In celebration of their upcoming release, now less than two weeks away, the band has teamed up with Spotfiy for a stream of the record. Each day, Spotify will add an additional One Man Army track to their player leading up to the record's final descent.
