Evocation - Detail New Album, Debut New Song

On March 10th, death metallers Evocation will celebrate their return with the new album, The Shadow Archetype. Revocation - To Reissue 'Empire Of The Obscene'

Boston thrashers Revocation have been touring across North America and the rest of the world in support of their latest release 2014's Deathless which was released on Metal Blade Records. Now the group has announced the long anticipated reissue and release of the band's 2008 album Empire Of The Obscene. The album will be released on November 13th via Metal Blade Records and includes the Summon The Spawn demo (2006). Be sure to check out the stream of the title track here.

Revocation - Recruit Former 3 Inches Of Blood Drummer

Revocation recently lost their drummer and founding member Phil Dubois-Coyne, who decided to leave the group. His replacement will be none other than Ash Pearson! He is the band's new full time drummer and is most well known for his work in 3 Inches Of Blood, now disbanded. Revocation is complete again.

Revocation - Drummer Leaves The Band

Another drummer down. Revocation just lost their original drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne. Phil has decided to pursue other musical projects and is stepping down as drummer of the band. Phil Dubois hasn't played with Revocation since suffering an arm injury last summer. Since then, the thrashers have been touring with former Job For A Cowboy drummer, Jon "The Charn" Rice and Alex Rudinger. You can expect his replacement to be announced soon.

Revocation - Debut New Song, More Album Details

A new Revocation track has just been released and can now be enjoyed here. The band has a new album coming out called Deathless which is set for an October 14th release via Metal Blade Records, and the artwork, tracklist and first single which is the title track, have been unveiled. Deathless was recorded with acclaimed producer Zeuss at Planet Z studios in Massachusetts. According to the label, the album is ten tracks of ambitious, catchy, and heavy material. Revocation - Announce New Album Title, Tour With Crowbar

Revocation have completed work earlier this year on their new album with producer Zeuss at Planet Z studios. The new opus, it has been revealed, will be called Deathless and will be released worldwide this fall on Metal Blade Records. The American metallers will continue touring and will join Crowbar on tour in September/October. The tour also features Havok, Fit For An Autopsy, and Armed For Apocalypse.

Cannibal Corpse - European Tour With Revocation And Aeon

Death metal heavyweights Cannibal Corpse just announced their return to Europe this fall. This will be their first European tour in support of their new, yet untitled album due for release later this year via Metal Blade Records. Evocation - Guitarist And Drummer Leave The Band

The Swedes Evocation are facing changes in the band. Drummer Janne Kenttäkumpu Bodén and guitarist Vesa Kenttäkumpu have left the death metal band. Both members announced to the group that they would no longer be a part of the band after 2013. The reasons are that "they no longer have the energy or motivation to continue and also they have different priorities in their lives nowadays." The Kenttäkumpu brothers have been with the band since the beginning. Evocation has recruited a new guitar player, whose identity is still under wraps, and the search for a new drummer has started.
