After releasing the stunning Time Waits For No Slave album via Century Media Records in 2009, British grindcore gods Napalm Death have been busy travelling around the globe to massively promote the album live. So the band has announced that they will be embarking on a headlining tour of Europe this November, along with Macabre, Immolation and Waking The Cadaver.

Vocalist Barney Greenway checks in with the following update: "Having just returned from a string of dates in Thailand, Australia and Japan, it's a great feeling to know that Napalm is able to get out far and wide. Despite the fact that Napalm has trail-blazed across the world, I still hope next year there will be a few new places that we can set foot in where other bands just don't go. That's still a great source of excitement.

Back in Europe, we're pleased to be coming back on tour again in November. There are old mates in Macabre and Immolation especially, and so it'll be good to round off the touring for Time Waits... with a real blowout amongst friends. We'll be turning the setlist on it's head, I think, so expect a few things you haven't heard perhaps from the mists of time. Hopefully we'll know what the fuck we are doing when we come to play all that stuff.

Which leads us into a new album, which we'll begin to piece together in January next year. Expect even more short, sharp shocks from what Shane and Mitch have told me so far on the music front, and lots of stop-start spontaneity. No finished lyrics as yet - I'm waiting with baited breath on the first nasty-sounding MP3 roughs so I can lock myself away and get going."

New York death metal legends Immolation just revealed the cover artwork for their upcoming 8th album Majesty And Decay.

Commented guitarist Bob Vigna: "Par Olofsson did an amazing job on this piece! It is so dark, twisted and bleak, and so realistic looking! He really captured the emotion of the album and what we were looking for. Together with the music it really sets such a unique mood and tone,... I think the fans are going to love it!"

Immolation have entered Millbrook Sound Studios in New York with longtime producer Paul Orofino to begin recording their Nuclear Blast Records debut, and eighth overall album. The band checked in from the studio today to offer the following details and update:

"Today we have begun the recording process for our eighth full-length release. Once again we have entered Millbrook Sound Studios in upstate Millbrook, New York and will start tracking with Paul Orofino tomorrow. This will be our sixth time visiting Millbrook Studios and we are really looking forward to the whole process.

The new album will contain ten songs of the strongest material we have ever written. The new material is more violent and aggressive, with fast sections that take us to a new level of speed and intensity, while complementing the dark and sullen heavier moments. There are plenty of miserable and militant movements to please the die hard and new Immolation fans alike.

We've spent the past two months rehearsing and fine tuning the songs so that all ten are stand-outs and create a complete listening experience. Needless to say, we are all very pleased and enthusiastic about the new material and are anxious to debut it to the fans.

Following the recording process here in Millbrook, we have decided to try something new for the mixing process, so we have enlisted the talents of Zack Ohren (Decrepit Birth, Suffocation, All Shall Perish). We are confident he will do an excellent job in giving a fresh new life to the Immolation sound.

We are still in the process of getting ideas together for the album's concept and cover art, but these final details will be worked out in the near future."

Legendary death metal band Immolation will play 4 gigs in Poland in August 2007. It's going to be a part of their next visit to Europe, when the band will appear on some summer festivals like Brutal Assault and MOD Festival. Immolation (who have already released their newest album 'Shadows In The Light' through Listenable Records) will be teaming up with Polish unholy deathsters Azarath and Deivos during their four upcoming assaults in Poland. Death metal stalwarts Immolation are currently fine-tuning the tracks for their much-anticipated new album. The band is currently holed up at drummer Steve Shalaty's house in Ohio prepping their new material, which is shaping up to be very aggressive and much more intense than their past work. The group will make their way over to Millbrook, NY by week's end to meet with Paul Orofino, the band's producer for their last four records, at Millbrook Sound Studios.

Robert Vigna (guitars) describes his thoughts on the new material: "We are really excited. The songs are shorter but pack more of a punch. They kick you hard right from the start and leave you pummeled by the end! It's definitely a darker, meaner album. I think the fans are going to go apeshit when they hear these tracks."

Ross Dolan (vocals, bass) further states: "The new stuff definitely has a very dark feel but does not let up on the heaviness or intensity at all. There is a hint of both the last two records in the new songs, but they are coming from a completely different approach. They are going to knock you on your ass!"

Immolation will head to Amsterdam directly after wrapping up in the studio to play the Arnhem Metal Meeting Festival with Arch Enemy. They will immediately proceed to Paris to shoot a new video for the upcoming album. The disc is tentatively set for a spring release through Century Media Records; look for the band to tour the U.S. around that same time.

Immolation has been assaulting God's black earth for the past 17 years. Along with bands like Suffocation, Incantation and Mortician, Immolation are one of the all important forefathers of New York death metal. Over the years, Immolation has always increased the stakes on each release and this new effort is no exception. It encompasses all the band's growth over the years and offers some of their most devastating material yet. Not only has the band developed their musical capabilities over the years, but they've also become one of the most intense live acts in the industry.
