Italian gothic metal act Lacuna Coil will begin touring in support of their upcoming new album, Dark Adrenaline, with an extensive UK tour, dubbed the Darkness Rising Tour, in November.

After spending many months in the recording studio the band are dying to get on the road again and perform songs from Dark Adrenaline live. The release date of Dark Adrenaline, through, has been pushed back by Century Media Records to early 2012.

Comments vocalist Cristina Scabbia: "Lacuna Coil is back, coilers! We can finally announce the new UK tour dates and I couldn't be more thrilled (it was hard to keep them a secret)! And this will also be your first chance to hear something new from our upcoming album, Dark Adrenaline! You all know how much we enjoy being surrounded by the ol' British dark love, that's why we definitely want to see you all this November! We'll give away our black hearts and velvet vibes to you. Italian Goth-Metallers Lacuna Coil have started work on a DVD project which is tentatively scheduled to be released later this year.

The DVD will be a retrospective of all things from the band's "Karmacode" album cycle. It will include promotional videos, spectacularly remixed pro-shot festival appearances, behind-the-scenes travel documentaries and home videos - and a few other fan-friendly surprises!

This will be the first "official" Lacuna Coil DVD release.

Lacuna Coil's male singer Andrea Ferro has issued the following update:

"I've been very busy with the works on the new Lacuna Coil album that has started taking shape. We feel like we're on the right creative mood but we still wanna write a lot more material before we call it done."

UK rock magazine Kerrang! recently spoke to Lacuna Coil frontwoman Cristina Scabbia about the group's forthcoming CD.

It's still early days for the follow-up to 2006's "Karmacode", with the band still piecing the songs together and seeking the right producer. But the sound, according to Scabbia, will "leave you with your mouths open. We want to experiment, we want to try something completely different, something that will rock your faces more than ever while still being Lacuna Coil."

The as-yet-untitled album is due for release in September 2008.

This unknown third party has contacted bands and other parties via a blocked cell phone number, informing the band that the person represents the Jager Tour and is considering the band for certain events. This party often tells the bands that he will be sending certain forms and documents for the band to complete, and that the party will be arranging a meeting with the band. He has also asked for the band to supply private personal information during this phone call.

Please be advised that this party DOES NOT represent the Jager Tour, Mast-Jagermeister or Sidney Frank Importing Co. Inc.

We believe that this party is conducting a scam in order to obtain band members' personal information.
