Machine Head - Reveal New Single Artwork
Groove thrashers Machine Head have revealed the artwork for a new single featuring the demo for new track "Killers And Kings". The single will be released on Record Store Day (April 19th) on a 10" vinyl with the B-side containing an Ignite cover "Our Darkest Days / Bleeding." For now, there is no news on their upcoming new album release date.

Machine Head - Being Sued By Former Bassist Adam Duce
Things could get messy for Machine Head. As it turns out, Adam Duce's exit from the band wasn't that amicable after all. According to Courthouse News, the former bassist has filed a lawsuit against the band and their manager in Federal Court. He seeks damages for trademark infringement, breach of partnership agreement and defamation, among other things. Ouch!

Machine Head - Streaming Previously Unreleased Song
This week, Machine Head's frontman Robert "Robb" Flynn has been sharing his stories about the band's album Through The Ashes Of Empires (2003), which is making its 10th anniversary. Besides his ramblings, he has also shared previously unreleased demos of tracks from the album. The three demos, never released publicly until now, are all available below. But there is more. Flynn has also shared a previously unreleased track that never made it to the album Through The Ashes Of Empires. It is called "Pins And Needles" and you get to hear it now.

Machine Head - New Label, New Album In 2014
The mighty Machine Head have found a new label home: the newly launched arm of Nuclear Blast Records, Nuclear Blast Entertainment, headed by the band's longtime friend and former Roadrunner A&R guru Monte Conner. The band had been in talks with various labels and has now announced the decision. What is more interesting to the fans is that the Americans, now with new bassist Jared MacEachern, will enter the studio in late October to begin recording their eighth studio album for an early 2014 release, followed by a massive worldwide tour cycle.

Machine Head - Unveil New Bassist
After an extensive search for candidates to replace Adam Duce who left the band, Machine Head have now announced that Jared MacEachern was selected as their new bass player. Jared has already begun rehearsals for the upcoming Rockstar Mayhem US summer festival tour and will soon relocate from North Carolina to Northern California to begin pre-production for Machine Head's upcoming 8th studio album. Machine Head - Announce New Headlining US Tour Dates
Machine Head have announced three headline shows as part of The Road To Mayhem Tour and these will be the only headline shows the band plays in all of 2013. The dates listed are specifically catered to not conflict with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival summer tour where Machine Head is headlining the Jägermeister USA stage.

Machine Head - Bassist Departs, New Album Announced
Machine Head has announced on their official website that longtime bassist Adam Duce has left the band. No specific details have been revealed yet, but the band has made it clear that Duce parted on good terms. On their website, the band states that they "would like to wish Adam the best with his current and future endeavors." Duce, who had served as Machine Head's bassist since its inception in 1992, contributed to all seven of their studio albums to date. His departure leaves frontman Robb Flynn as the only remaining original member.

Machine Head - North American Tour Announced
Machine Head have announced an upcoming U.S. headlining tour with support acts Suicide Silence, Darkest Hour, and Rise To Remain. The tour kicks off on January 15th in Denver, Colorado, and will run through the U.S. for the remainder of the month, coming to a close on February 18th in the band's hometown area of San Francisco, California. San Francisco thrashers, Machine Head, have been confirmed as a headlining act for the Wacken Open Air 2012, in Germany. Machine Head have played in Wacken before both in 2005 and 2009.

The CD was recorded at JingleTown Studios in Oakland, with frontman Robb Flynn producing. The mixing duties were handled by Flynn and Juan Urteaga (Exodus, Testament, Vicious Rumors, Vile, Cattle Decapitation).
