Onslaught will become the first international thrash metal act to play in Lebanon on June 10th. The band's appearance at The Station venue in Beirut will be a special climax to "The Force 30th Anniversary" world tour, which kicked off in November 2016 with dates in United Kingdom and Ireland.

After playing in 2012 on the Barge To Hell cruise, Denmark thrash metal veterans Artillery will return to North America this fall for their first ever North American tour. The band will join Onslaught and Striker beginning on October 23rd at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY. Thrashers Onslaught have been recording their yet untitled sixth studio album and according to their latest update will now be mixing it with Thomas Plec Johansson (Tiamat, Scar Symmetry) at the Panic Room studios in Skara, Sweden commencing on July 7th. The successor to Sounds Of Violence is due for a worldwide release through AFM Records in September. This year also marks the band's 30th anniversary.

Next March and April, Onslaught will embark on their first ever North American tour.

Nige Rockett comments:

"Good Morning America. Here we are at very long last! Onslaught are super-fucking stoked to announce our debut tour of the mighty USofA and Canada. It's been one hell of a long time coming, but we are now finally bringing the Scream For Violence tour to North America for 20 shows in March and April 2012. Just as we did in Europe, the UK and South America, we'll be thrashing it up with a brutal 90 minute set featuring tracks off all five Onslaught studio albums. We can't fucking wait guys. This is the Sound of Violence!"

Coming along on tour is the new black/thrash metal outfit M-Pire Of Evil an all ex-Venom supergroup featuring Demolition man, Antton Lant and Venom's founding member Jeff "Mantas" Dunn. Mpire will be presenting their own material as well as performing classic Venom songs. Bay area thrashers Evil Dead will joining this unholy package for some devastating dates on the US West Coast.

Onslaught have announced Mic Hourihan as their new drummer. He will replace Steve Grice. The band announced it on their Facebook page: "British thrashers Onslaught have announced that drummer Michael "Mic" Hourihan (Desecration, Extreme Noise Terror) has officially joined the band on a full time basis. Mic has been touring with Onslaught since March 2011, and has already done over 50 shows with the band including South American, UK and European tours."
