Primordial - Debut Song From Folk Compilation

You will do well to remember the upcoming compilation One And All, Together, For Home reported previously. Season Of Mist will release this compilation featuring renditions of traditional tunes from bands from the metal world. Irish blackened folk metal band Primordial has announced that they will headline a US mini-tour this September. This tour will also include the appearance at this year's ProgPower USA XIII in Atlanta. Support on the tour, except on the ProgPower USA XIII festival, will come from While Heaven Wept and Cormorant.

Todtgelichter - Supporting Primordial On German Release Shows

German avantgarde black metal band Todtgelichter will support Primordial on the band's two Redemption at the Puritan's Hand release shows in Germany.

Comments Todtgelichter: "We're glad to inform you that we have been asked by none other than Primordial themselves to support them at their release shows in Essen and Munich! As their newest album Redemption at the Puritan's Hand is due on April 23rd in Europe (April 26th in North America), this exceptional band will play two special release shows."

Also Primordial's A.A. Nemtheanga chimes in: "We have two very special release parties scheduled in Germany for 23rd and 24th of April in Germany, Essen and Munich (Trurock and Backstage). The album will be available at these shows before shop release at a special price and the tickets right now are looking like being 10 euro (12 at the most), there will be special merch, meet and greets, signings and just generally hanging out so make sure to get to those two. Support will come from Todtgelichter from Germany."

Primordial - New Album Cover Art And Tracklist Revealed

Irish metallers Primordial have revealed the artwork and tracklisting for their upcoming album, Redemption At The Puritan's Hand, which will be released on April 23rd in Europe (April 26th in North America) via Metal Blade Records.

About the front art, vocalist A.A. Nemtheanga commented: "So it's finished, ready, done and dusted as they say. The cover was done again by our by now resident art executioner Paul McCarroll from Unhinged Art. Simple I think you will admit but definitely one that we argued least about through all the years, dark, macabre and beautiful it perfectly portrays the themes of the new album, which I will get into shortly."

Primordial - European Mini-Tour With While Heaven Wept, Alcest

As announced by Primordial in early December, the band will undertake a small ten date European mini-tour (including the 5 Metalfests) at the end of May/beginning of June. Support on the trek will come from While Heaven Wept and Alcest.
