Threat Signal - Part Ways With Drummer

Shortly after the announcement of the Threat Over Europe European tour and after the departure of guitarist Adam Weber in July, Canada's Threat Signal have announced the departure of drummer Norm Killeen. The band are currently seeking a replacement to fill the position.

Commented the band: "After three amazing years together, the Threat Signal camp has decided to part ways with drummer Norm Killeen. This was a mutual decision and there are no hard feelings towards each other. We will still continue to work with Norm's graphic design company, NME Studios. We wish you all the best with your future endeavors Norm; much love and respect. So now the drummer search begins! We're looking for someone preferably with touring experience, but if not, that's fine. We have quite a bit of dates coming up in October and November through out North America and Europe, so we're looking for someone that can really nail these songs quick and hit the road."

Threat Signal - Guitarist Leaves

Pat Kavanagh, bassist of Canadian melodic death metal outfit Threat Signal has issued the following statement on the band's MySpace:

"I'm going to start this update off with the good news. We're playing a week of shows with our friends in Soilwork in August. Can't wait to play with those dudes again! Check out our MySpace for the dates. Also we'll have former Darkest Hour shredder and awesome dude Kris Norris filling in! So you definitely don't want to miss these shows.

Now you may be asking yourself "filling in?!?" yeah, onto the bad news. Here it comes again folks, there's been another casualty in TS. Adam Weber has decided to leave us. He has some personal things he needs to work out and we wish him all the best. We're still good friends and there's plenty more beers that we'll have together so no worries. I know this sucks to hear for a lot of you and I can list off a boat load of bands that have been through the same shit we've been through. Just know it sucks hard on our side too.

On a positive note we have a huge head start on the next record. Even have a few demos already! You'll be hearing new shit soon. So we hope to see you on the road with Soilwork, Mutiny Within and Kris Norris soon! Good times will be had by all!

Now I'll leave you with this little fun game; let's see how you guys can finish this joke: How many Threat Signal guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb..."

Threat Signal - European Tour Cancellation

Threat Signal is stepping out of the European tour supporting (hed) p.e. Here's the band's statement:

"We sincerely regret to inform you that our 2010 European tour dates with (hed) p.e. and Atilla have been officially canceled. The tour will still go on; however, we will not be performing on it. We had worked very hard to make this tour even considerably possible, but due to financial difficulties we've had to abandon ship. We're back thousands more dollars than we originally expected, and we've been struggling ever since to find affordable means of transportation. We cannot justify or even find the amount of money needed to make this tour possible for us anymore...

Our hearts are broken, this would have been Threat Signal's first European Tour. On the upside, we've had an amazing North American run with Epica and Blackguard and are looking forward to confirmed dates in Canada. The more people that show their support locally will ultimately help us land these tours overseas. Even if you can't make it out to a show you can show your TS support by purchasing some new merchandise at Kill The 8 Online Merch Store, and music from iTunes and Amazon.

Once again, we apologize a million times over and over to our friends and fans in Europe who expected us on the tour. We're currently working extremely hard with our agents and record label to find another tour in Europe before the year is over. We promise to make this up to those who were looking forward to seeing us live."
