The band has announced the release of their new single "Lift Me Up" (featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest). You can listen to the band's new single via iHeartRadio here. The song was originally introduced via a live performance at the Revolver Golden Gods. The band also unveiled that their upcoming two-part double album will be named The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 and The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2. Volume 1 which will be released on July 23rd, while its successor is scheduled for fall 2013.
Spanish symphonic/power metallers Dark Moor will release a brand new single, "The Road Again", at the end of the next week, on May 18th. The song for this single, which is already available for pre-order, comes off the group's upcoming album Ars Musica, which is scheduled to be released on June 18th via Scarlet Records.
Finnish singer Tarja has announced more details about the upcoming new album. It will be entitled Colours In The Dark and will be released on August 23rd through EarMUSIC Records. The album was mixed and mastered by Tim Palmer in Austin, TX. Tarja has also revealed a string of tour dates (mainly in Germany), which you can check out below.

The power metal band has just finished writing its second album with new vocalist Marc Hudson, and plan to enter the studio to start recording in May the successor to The Power Within. The band will work on Fascination Studios in Sweden with Jens Bogren and start laying down tracks.

The song for this single is taken from Avantasia's new upcoming album The Mystery Of Time, which will be out on March 29th, 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records.
It is a sad day for the Iron Maiden family. Clive Burr, the drummer who played with Iron Maiden on their first three albums, Iron Maiden, Killers and The Number Of The Beast, has passed away. It has been announced by the band themselves on their official website: "We are deeply saddened to report that Clive Burr passed away last night. He had suffered poor health for many years after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and died peacefully in his sleep at home."
