Following the success of their last release Nemesis, Finnish power metallers Stratovarius decided to shoot the second video off the album. While the song chosen before was "Halcyon Days" (watch here), here we have the video for "Unbreakable", directed by Mariano Biasin.

In fact, vocalists Nils Rue from Pagan's Mind, Henrik Båth from Darkwater, Elin Redin from End Of September and Theocracy's Matt Smith have joined forces to sing in a track composed by Smith himself and enriched with the guitar solo of Darkwater and Harmony's Markus Sigfridsson. The cool fact is that 100% of the income of this track will be delivered to The Bridge Bunch, an organization dedicated to serving the homeless population of Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States. This is the kind of news everybody wants to read about. Dominique Leurquin, Luca Turilli's Rhapsody's guitarist, finally recovered from the terrible hand injury caused by a circular saw. Some days ago, he shared the stage with bassist Patrice Guers with his cover band (see pic below) and he will return playing live with Luca Turilli's Rhapsody at the festival of Hodonin in Czech Republic on August 15th, 2014.

Time for another bunch of news from the Timo Tolkki's Avalon camp. The new album will be released around May 2014, and in that month an European tour will also start, while recordings are currently taking place in East Sound Studios in Helsinki, Finland. In March, a single and a promotional video for it will be released: and they will feature no less than Nightwish and ReVamp vocalist Floor Jansen, who will play the leading role in the successor of The Land Of New Hope. Floor adds to the guest artists already announced, as Epica singer Simone Simons and ex-Stratovarius drummer and keyboardist Tuomo Lassila and Antti Ikonen.
Progressive rock supergroup Transatlantic are about to release their fourth album Kaleidoscope (to drop on January 27th via InsideOut Music), but they never released a video. Now this void is being filled, as the video for "Shine", the second track off the upcoming album, can be enjoyed here below.
Italian power metallers Kaledon just released the second video off their seventh album, Altor: The King's Blacksmith, out via Scarlet Records on April 23rd. The band's site states: "The original keyboard player of Stratovarius Antti Ikonen has joined the line up of Avalon. He played all keyboards on the classic Stratovarius albums such as Fright Night, Twilight Time, Dreamspace and Fourth Dimension."
Italian symphonic epic metal masters Rhapsody Of Fire just premiered another song off their upcoming album Dark Wings Of Steel, which will hit the stores on November 22nd in Europe and December 3rd in North America via AFM Records, and will be the first without former guitarist Luca Turilli. Cello metal masters Apocalyptica have just released the official video clip for "Fight Against Monsters", the third out of three live clips for their upcoming album Wagner Reloaded - Live In Leipzig. Recorded in Leipzig in July 2013, this is a live collaboration with the MDR Leipzig Symphony Orchestra and will be released on November 19th via BMG.
