Just three months after releasing its latest album, Interval 02: Parallel Infinities - The Abscinded Universe, progressive death metal project Lascaille's Shroud is announcing a new release, named Lascaille's Shroud Presents Curaga. This, however, won't be a conventional release. The music will be focused on the aggressive side of power metal, and the album's theme will be that of video games: "Final Fantasy 7", "Final Fantasy 9", "Metal Gear Solid", "The Witcher", "Bioshock" and "Beyond: Two Souls".
Today the new Edguy album, Space Police - Defenders Of The Crown, sees its official release in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records, and the band is streaming the full album, complete with two bonus tracks, right at this location. Head over there, listen to it and tell us what you think about it.
The new EP by Unisonic, For The Kingdom, will be released on May 23rd via earMUSIC. The label has just unveiled the EP's cover artwork, created by graphic artist Martin Hausler (who has previously worked with Unisonic on the band's debut album cover design). The cover represents only a very small excerpt of the futuristic album artwork.

Italian metallers Ancient Bards just premiered the video for the track "In My Arms", the first single off their upcoming album A New Dawn Ending, due to be released on April 25th in Europe and Japan and on June 10th in North America via Limb Music. German power metal superstars Edguy just premiered the new video for the song "Love Tyger", off their upcoming album Space Police - Defenders Of The Crown, due to be released on April 18th (UK April 21st, USA April 29th) via Nuclear Blast Records. The band labeled it as the "most different video clip we actually never shot", so... enjoy the bizarre output below and the new song, of course.
And the title of the upcoming Opeth album is... Pale Communion! Roadrunner Records just unveiled the fact that the album will hit the stores worldwide on June 17th. Among other things, now we know that Pale Communion was produced by bandleader Mikael Åkerfeldt and mixed by longtime collaborator and Porcupine Tree frontman/guitarist Steven Wilson.
The new Elvenking album, named The Pagan Manifesto, is fast approaching and will be released on May 9th via AFM Records. After streaming "Elvenlegions", the first song off the album, the band is now sharing the album tracklist. Soon the band will release a new video for "Elvenlegions" as well.
