Queens Of The Stone Age are hinting at their new album and while they are not giving much away, the band has posted audio teasers on their website. SPIN.com is reporting that Matador publicist Nils Bernstein confirms that the album will be titled ...Like Clockwork and that the band signed with Matador Records for its release, hence the label's logo on their website and the word "June".

Lee Dorman, Iron Butterfly's bass player, was found dead on December 21st. He was 70 years old. Lee Dorman also played for the progressive/psychedelic rock group Captain Beyond. According to TMZ, the bassist had a history of heart trouble, he was found dead in his car and authorities don't believe there is anything suspicious about his death.

Ian Gillan, singer of the legendary hard rockers Deep Purple, spoke exclusively to Classic Rock Magazine, and revealed that the new Deep Purple album, due to be released in April 2013, will feature 13 tracks including "Out Of Hand", "Hell To Pay", "Weirdistan", "Uncommon Man", and "Above And Beyond".
