Doom metal band Kauan have revealed the cover art and album details for their fifth album Pirut. The Russian/Ukrainian outfit's new album is due for pre-order on October 23rd through Finnish label Blood Music. Pirut (translated as "Devils") showcases a single 39-minute long track, "twisting the band's traditional melancholic post-rock beauty into something much more sinister and operatic." Finnish label Blood Music has begun the pre-orders for the ultra-limited (150 copy) deluxe vinyl editions of cult Hungarian band Thy Catafalque's latest three avantgarde black metal works: Rengeteg, Róka Hasa Rádió, and Tűnő Idő Tárlat, to be released on vinyl for the first time. These deluxe, ultra-limited editions include high resolution audio remasters, heavyweight vinyl, and special edition layouts created by the band.
