Napalm Records and Be'lakor are proud to announce a worldwide deal to release the band's upcoming albums. The Australian band had promised updates soon and here it is. Their fourth album is planned to be released this year, with the exact date yet to be revealed. This also means more shows outside of Australia for them.
After parting ways with drummer Jimmy Vanden Broek, Be'lakor, the band from Australia, has announced their new drummer is Elliott Sansom. He has already recorded the drums for their new album and played on their European tour. The new album is planned to be released around March 2016. The mixing process is nearly complete.
Persefone has incorporated a new member in the band: the guitarist Filipe Baldaia. You might know his work on the band Nami. The progressive death metallers have been focusing on writing new material and are also confirmed for the Spanish festival Resurrection Fest 2016.
Persefone has announced the cancellation of their show at ProgPower USA 2015 in September. The band posted the news on their official site and is very disappointed with the whole situation but delays in the visa process were the root of the problem and forced this cancellation.
Draconian is back with a new record and the band from Sweden has now shared a teaser for their new album, Sovran. Shaun Sykes, the guitarist of the Australian band Be'lakor, will be sitting out their next upcoming European tour for medical reasons. He will be replaced by Matt Dodds from Arbrynth. As you may know, the band has been working on a new album.
The progressive/death metallers from Andorra, Persefone, have recently posted in their Facebook page that the band is currently working on a new album. This will be their fifth studio album, the follow-up to the excellent Spiritual Migration (nominated in Metal Storm Awards 2013) and the first with the new drummer Sergi "Bobby" Verdeguer.

After eight years, Persefone will re-release their first album Truth Inside The Shades in early April. As an addition, they have included "The Haunting Of Human's Denial" bonus track added on the Japanese edition released back in 2004, and also the first song that the singer Marc Martins sang with Persefone. The artwork has been revisited by Alberto Sánchez Ballesteros.
The Swedes Draconian have recently presented the third video from the studio sessions of their new album. This time around, the band shows a little snippet from Heike Langhans' vocal parts. If you are curious about it, check it out below. More updates about the album are expected soon. Stay tuned!
Draconian have presented two videos from the pre-production studio sessions in The Dead Dog Farm Studios (Säffle, Sweden), of their forthcoming 6th studio album. The first details have not been revealed yet but at least you can hear something. Heike Langhans has been recording vocals as well after some permit delays. The Andorra band Persefone announced that their drummer Marc Mas is no longer in the group. He decided to leave but on good terms. At this point, the melodic death metal band hasn't announced a replacement yet.
Singer Marcela Bovio and Jeffrey Revet from Stream Of Passion will perform a few acoustic songs at Sounds in Tilburg, on Wednesday, April 30th. They promise some beautiful and intimate moments; so if you happen to be around feel free to join the fun. They will also have the time to chat and sign some CDs afterwards. Their last album, A War Of Our Own, was released the last April 18th. Have you already listened to it?
Yet another tour coming to Europe. To promote and support the upcoming album The Quantum Enigma, symphonic metallers Epica will embark on the first leg of The European Enigma Tour this November and December with Dagoba as special guest on these dates, except for London and Paris. To conclude this first leg, Epica will play their biggest show to date in Paris, at the legendary L'Olympia venue on the 29th of January 2015.
