09:42 - deadone Maco, it's the truth. They've been involved in feuds with some musicians. They do post tabloid style crap designed more to draw one in with big outrageous titles and yet have very little content.
09:26 - Joe Zombie I have found a good number of bands because of MetalSucks. I don't read their articles or reviews. I also like their "Shit That Comes Out Today" feature. Good way to keep up with new stuff.
09:25 - Maco What happened on metalsucks to say something like that.
09:23 - ScreamingSteelUS Agreed. They can occasionally be amusing, but they can also be so juvenile and repugnant that I pay very little attention to them.
09:23 - Desert Father So apparently Blut Aus Nord are doing a split with AEvangelist
09:19 - deadone I have to say I hate Metalsucks - it's a contrived, wannabe internet warrior tabloid whose "authors" have absolutely no ability to write well and have to appeal to lowest common denominator such as feuds to get any attention.

According to a posting on the Facebook page of Tim Butcher - Lemmy's longtime bass technician - former Motörhead guitarist Michael "Würzel" Burston died yesterday (Saturday, July 9). The cause of death was not revealed. Würzel was 61 years old.
Before joining Motörhead in 1984, Burston had been a corporal in the Army, serving in Germany and Ireland with the 1st Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment, and had played in the bands Bastard and Warfare. Joining another relatively unknown guitarist, Phil Campbell, they played together at a Motörhead audition, and both were taken on.
Burston acquired the nickname Würzel while in the Army, being compared to the character Worzel Gummidge due to his scarecrow-style hair and bumpkin-like manner. Lemmy reportedly demanded that Würzel add an umlaut to the "U" in his name, for "heavy metal effect."

Johnsson wrote the following: "We are hereby proud to announce the person who will be filling the infernal shoes of Kat (the Evil One) for the upcoming Therion tour activities. It will be no less than Linnéa Vikström, the daughter of Thomas. She sang on Sitra Ahra and enchanted many listeners with her charming and diverse presence. From being the cute little spawn of Thomas, she has now been growing to a woman and she is ready to help us carry the flag of Therion around the world.
