Scale The Summit - New Album In September, Snippet Online

Knotfest 2015 - Announce Judas Priest, Cannibal Corpse, At The Gates

Knotfest is returning to San Bernardino, California this October. The festival curated by Slipknot now in its third year has announced many of the performers already and it will take place on October 23rd (pre-party), 24th, 25th, 2015 on five stages. After The Burial - Issue Statement On Guitarist's Meltdown

After The Burial have responded to their guitarist's meltdown earlier this week. Justin Lowe posted a lengthy rant on Facebook (which now appears to have been removed) accusing the other members of various bizarre actions and basically leaving the group. However, according to the band, the guitarist is ill and is getting some help right now. He was not in a sound state of mind.

Caligula's Horse - Join Inside Out Music Roster

Caligula's Horse have taken an important step in their career. The up-and-coming alternative progressive metallers from Australia have signed with record label Inside Out Music (of the Century Media family). It's about time they release a follow-up to 2013's The Tide, The Thief & River's End. The band has shared photos from the studio recently. Hopefully, they are recording new tracks. Revocation - Recruit Former 3 Inches Of Blood Drummer

Revocation recently lost their drummer and founding member Phil Dubois-Coyne, who decided to leave the group. His replacement will be none other than Ash Pearson! He is the band's new full time drummer and is most well known for his work in 3 Inches Of Blood, now disbanded. Revocation is complete again.

Shining (NOR) - Perform On Cliff In Norway

Shining (NOR) are releasing a new album this year on Spinefarm Records. But before that, they tried to reach for the sun as they performed on top of a 2,300 foot cliff in Norway! On June 21st, on the solstice and longest day of the year, the Norwegian blackjazz band Shining (NOR) played the world's first concert on top of a grandiose mountain structure hanging out 700 meters-that's nearly 2300 feet-above the ground. A fan-filmed clip of the concert can be seen below along with amazing shots from the event and a video from the band where you can hear a snippet of new music.

Insomnium - Nick Cordle Announced As Stand-In Guitarist For Tour

Venomous Concept - Join Season Of Mist, New Album Coming

Venomous Concept are still active. The international grindcore punk "supergroup" will release its next record via their new label Season Of Mist. Finally and after too long of a quiet spell, the band decided that it was time for more music. They got together with a bunch of ideas, which they had recorded in demo form here and there, on tour, and in various rehearsal studios. The grinders recorded a new album during 2014, which sees the band continue in their trademark hardcore punk styles - with the added bonus of compositions by Lilker and Cooke.
