Korpiklaani - Announce New Album

Folk metal superstars Korpiklaani have just announced that they have inked a new deal with Nuclear Blast for the release of their upcoming new album entitled Noita, which is set for a release in May 2015. The follow-up to Manala has been recorded at Petrax Studio with Aksu Hanttu handling production, recording and mixing again. It will also be the first album to feature new accordion player Sami Perttula, who has been playing a very active role in the folk arrangements along with fiddler Tuomas Rounakari. However, you will still have to wait a little more to listen to it.

Wintersun - Drummer Timo Häkkinen To Fill In For Kai Hahto

In March, the Finns Wintersun will co-headline Paganfest 2015 with Turisas. However, the drummer Kai Hahto will not be joining the band on their upcoming shows due to his gig with Nightwish. Timo Häkkinen (Sotajumala) will fill in for him during that time. The band still plans to do the crowdfunding campaign but that will take time to plan.

Faith No More - Announce N. American Tour And New Single

As they prepare to release a new album, Faith No More have announced their first North American tour dates as well. A special pre-sale begins on January 28th at 10:00 AM local time. The Americans will also perform at Heavy Montreal festival in August.
