Gosh, some metalheads can be so narrow-minded.
All you people do is whine about how much of a joke In Flames is these days and that this or that band with this or that album should have won, but you're missing the point. Look at the big picture. A metal album - regardless of the quality - has been voted best Swedish album (open to all genres) of the decade in a tabloid which has nothing to do with metal at all. C'mon, this is pretty cool.
But yeah, the readers of that newspaper have indeed a horrible taste in music. That I will agree with.
Who cares if its metal? It sucks. |

Agreed... not the best choice. But it could be worse... they could have said A Sense Of Purpose.  I'm pretty shocked that neither Opeth or Amon Amarth got the honor. |

IN FLAMES won it bcz they are a MAINSTREAM METAL BAND ,, yeah may be there are many Swedish metal-album deserve that win, like Opeth for sure, but just like what Thryce ,, look at the other good point, METAL WON OVER ALL THE OTHER GENRE ,, n thats FUCKEN GR8  |
