French progressive symphonic metallers Adagio have reported that Christian Palin, vocalist since 2008, has departed from their line-up. Guitarist Stéphan Forté reports: "We have had no other choice but to separate from Christian Palin this morning (Saturday Feb. 13). That is a decision we needed to take as soon as possible for the best of Adagio. We have no hard feelings towards him and wish him all the best for the future. More news very soon..."

Lol, more splitting/breaking news...on a side note, I think he did a good job on the vocals of Archangels in Black, I really liked some of the songs...
Troy Killjoy - 14.02.2010 at 02:28
A little late on the split trend. That was so last week.

It sucks that Christian Palin left the band. Well, that happens. Hopefully Adagio will have a suitable replacement.

Maybe they'll get back the singer from their first 2 albums! He was probably their best vocalist imo. Although Palin was good on Archangels.
Kap'N Korrupt - 14.02.2010 at 07:35
Adagio seems to have a revolving door thing with their vocalists...

I am kinda glad they parted ways. I don't like Palin. I want Gus back.
Bas - 14.02.2010 at 23:38
A shame, he was really good at Hellfest, met him before the show too and he was a very nice guy.
Shadowcross - 15.02.2010 at 08:41
Wasn't he from Brazil and from the band Aquaria?

Archangels in Black wasn't that great anyway

same here,i dont like him,he sucked every time on the tour with his vocals, that is the reason why he is kicked from the band
Daggon - 16.02.2010 at 05:44
Well, I'm not impressed, I think Monsanto was a way too far better vocalist than Palin, I'd like to listen more of his vocals with Adagio.
