Mayhem - Returns To Wacken In 2011
It´s getting dark at Wacken. There are only few bands existing which are entwined around by such lots of rumours like this band. After their last bloody show at Wacken 2004, Norwegian black metal icon Mayhem returns to Wacken. The band is fronted again by former vocalist Attila Csihar who replaced Maniac in the end of 2004.
This will be their only festival show in 2011.

Lol I read a WAO reweiw in MS there was written there is aprox 4000 cows, so seems thay need fresch meat to sacrifice thats why thay choose WAO LOL

Written by Bad English on 25.09.2010 at 21:36 I don't know what happened at Wacked 2004 concerning Mayhem. I guess "bloody" was a convenient way to describe the show. I don't know, though, someone else may be able to answer your question concerning that show. I do know, however, that this must have been one of the last Mayhem performances featuring Maniac as vocalist, though.

Written by Carl Berg on 26.09.2010 at 19:55 Yeah, I saw a documentary (The Misanthrope by Nocturno Culto I think it was... you know the one where there was a Satyricon/Darkthrone show in WOA 2004) where they showed how Maniac threw a pig head on the crowd and previously cut his hand and the blood didn't stop pouring out of it. Nothing really new for a Mayhem show if you ask me.
