A Forest Of Stars - Ink Deal With Lupus Lounge / Prophecy Productions

Official press release

The year is 1891. The members of the Gentleman's Club of A Forest Of Stars, an exclusive brotherhood of English Victorians, consider themselves to be exponents of their glorious and pompous, at times decadent era characterized by extreme opposites. A Forest Of Stars channel the experiences gained from their numerous meetings hazed by opium and absinthe, occult rites and séances in the form of a previously unheard-of ghostly and hypnotic music, filled with the spirit of the glorious Victorian Age - a harrowing testimony of their many spiritual and sensual excesses.

For their future undertakings, the Gentleman's Club has now found a loyal partner in Lupus Lounge / Prophecy Productions who are going to support these artists in the realisation of their five next albums. The Club's Representative The Gentleman has this to say about this decision of mutual cooperation: "We are proudly humbled to join the ranks of such great and noble artists. It is an honour to do business with a Mechanical Phonograph Recording Label that allows us to do precisely as we please and that has ensured our much-cherished Gentleman's Club will not unduly fall into ruin or disrepair. In short, we could not ask for a more fitting partnership."

I really don't care where their music is produced. So long as they keep making it. The album with "male" and "female" (can't remember it's name) is pretty good. I love when violins are incorporated into metal.

That would be The Corpse Of Rebirth, and I agree with the violin statement. Cellos and violins (just not Apocalyptica). "God" is one of the single greatest introductions to an album I've ever heard, and the rest of the album is outstanding. Any musicians who stop mid-album for a tea break earn my respect.

lol, word! These guys have class and are made out of a better brand than ye' ole' Akercocke. They make Akercocke look like amateurs... fuckin' dipshits with nine-toed women. (sorry, I had to go there...).

Anyways, this is a great deal! Maybe they can help AFoS out with tours in Germany

Sweet. A Forest of Stars and Prophecy Productions would be a great match for each other. I don't know as much about Lupus Lounge, but congrats to that one as well.
