Last night, Warbringer played at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA supporting Sepultura and Angra. This marked the last show together with drummer Nic Ritter (ex-Prototype). After a two-year international touring cycle and one album, Waking Into Nightmares, Nic and the band have decided to collectively part ways.
Nic had this to say about his decision: "I felt like it was time for a change both musically and personally. All is good between the guys and myself as this was a mutual decision. I wish them the best in the future and with the next album."
Added Warbringer guitarist John Laux: "Nic Ritter is an incredible drummer and we wish him the best of luck! I know he made a lot of friends around the world and I just want everyone to understand that our decision to part ways was mutual and necessary. Nic has worked very hard with us over the last 2 years and we are grateful for his contributions musically and his commitment personally on the road."
In the meantime, Warbringer have been writing and practicing with a new drummer and will perform their first show together as part of the EyeScream Festival in Mexico City on March 5th.

Holy Fuck! I wanted them to keep that drummer in the band, he's simply awesome, and his work in "Waking Into Nightmares" is superb. Damn, this is a sad news, at least for me |

| It's the vocalist who should leave the band. |
