DAMMIT! February alone will probably be worse than all of 2010.
it is looking that way, but I hope you're wrong |

| Holy shit its getting worse and worse... cant count the RIPs... But again R.I.P. as well as to every other glorious metalhead of past, presence and future! |

This is obviously tragic, the death of nearly any person is bad news (don't want to be absolute...). Although I had never heard of this particular musician, nor had I ever heard the album he played on, I wish his family and friends the best. R.I.P.
Now that I have made it clear that I am clearly sorry this fella passed, I would like to do a little internet bitchin'. When the The Rev died (Avenged Sevenfold) about half the people there were either Avenged Sevenfold fans, or people who were just sorry that a musician had died. However, a quick look at that post, and the other half were people pulling out random arguments about how we should not mourn the death. Whether it was "Most people at this website are atheists, yet they say RIP, what hypocrites", or "You guys didn't even know the guy personally, why would you be sad?" I don't see any of that stuff on this post.
Just pointing out the fact that those guys that pretended to be so annoyed when people showed sympathy for a dead musician, were really annoyed that people were showing sympathy for a dead Avenged Sevenfold musician. Ergo, half the people who commented on the A7X sight were jerks who think musicians that don't play their style deserve to be worm food with no sympathy from anyone. |

Not good at all |

Seeing how many people there are that have played in metal bands, it's really not a surprise that peoples death reports pop up now and then.
With that said, RIP. |

RIP. I hope '11 is not as bad as '10.
I never could imagine it would be, but seeing the recent deathtoll, I'm reconsidering. |

I seem to recall Tom saying something about Strahli becoming homeless or being arrested shortly after he left Sodom, and he never heard from him again after that. "Masquerade In Blood" is a very good album, if badly produced.
RIP Strahli \m/ |
