Same here. That 2.40 minute sample sounds weird and too cheesy. Let's hope it gets a lot better.

Agree with most comments. Last album was great.. but who knows, maybe it's just this song, and the rest of the new album is good. For a second I had a slight feeling that I was listening to power metal.

Wow....that was disappointing on a level I was not expecting. LIke Jay said, the verses just aren't good, at least that's my verdict at this time. Maybe time will change that.

Shit man...do they have a new vocalist? The guy sounds like a teenager and starts off too high.....the music is cool but whats up with that verse/dude's voice?

It's still Rain Irving (so the guy that also sang on Vast Oceans Lachrymose) what I understood is that he wrote vocal lines this time around (on all the previous works Tom Phillips wrote them cause he did the vocals there, he was supposed to sing VOL as well but eventually decided to get Irving in the band as vocalist so he could concentrate on his guitar playing)

haven't heard the song yet. And will wait till the album is out. Which I will buy regardless just to keep my While Heaven Wept collection as complete as possible.

I support what the guys before me have said... this truly is dissapointing, hopefully the album otherwise is better. Don't really fancy the artwork either.
