"Night City", the new video from US stoner metallers The Sword, can now be watched below.
The video was directed by Artificial Army, and features Esteban Powell, best-known for his role as Carl in Dazed and Confused. The clip is the third and final part of the Warp Riders video trilogy. The first and second chapters of the saga were for "Tres Brujas" and "Lawless Lands".
"Night City" comes off the band's latest album Warp Riders, which was released back in August 2010 through Kemado Records.

Why is this metal?
IMO its just about the only doomish stuff I can handle. The new album is not that bad, definitely something that has to grow on you. Their blatant hero worship of old school hard rock/metal (a la Black Sabbath) can be off putting to some. But if you had the desire to check out their back catalog I think that you might be surprised.
Speaking of the video however. All three of these vids in the 'saga' or whatever have been lame as shit. Honestly guys put your fucking swords, no pun intended, down, find a fucking drummer and have a proper tour. Fuck this sissy "lets make 100 vids for our new album" shit. Honestly. I defended them, and now Imma bash em. If you wanna be pseudometal, then at least fucking act like it, quit acting like a bunch of premadonnas. |

| Warp Riders was a throwback to old school metal done right. One of my favourite albums of last year. |
