Swedish black metal legends Marduk have posted a new song, "Warschau 2 - Headhunter Halfmoon" taken from the Iron Dawn EP scheduled for release later this month. \

Sounds more like older Marduk than Wormwood. Hope the new album is more like this!!!

Older Marduk a la Panzer Division Marduk just doesn't make me feel anything this days. Expect waaaaay more from this guys since ROM 5:12 is fucking awesome and Wormwood was great as well.

I don't think that Mortuus' voice fits well in panzer-era Marduk... Song is still ok but if they stick to the newer sound (or the really old) it would be better

Well I've only started listening to Marduk since "Plague Angel" so that I'm really not familiar with the old style. I love Rom 5:12, Wormwood is nice too (tho cannot be compared to Rom greatness) but returning to the old style doesn't sound interesting to me.

I've listened to this song about six times now and definitely enjoy it. Marduk's recent albums have had fast songs like this thrown in but for the most part this is an older sound for them. I hope the rest of the EP, and eventual album, sounds like this though.

Cool, this one sounds almost as if it came right from Panzer Division Marduk. If that's what the rest of the album sounds like, I'm stoked. Not that I didn't like ROM 5:12 or Wormwood, but Marduk is more of a nice, simple blasturbation kind of a band to me.
