How can they possibly work on new material with Akerfeldt and Axenrot making new Opeth album?

They should abandon Opeth. Who needs Opeth? Bloodbath is far more interesting

Bloodbath's debut is far more interesting

I fixed your post bro, don't thank me.
Only their debut was good the rest... meh. I felt like they were going to go with a old school and cool approach to death metal with their debut. But no, right after their debutn they just changed to one of the thousands of death metal bands with perfectly clean production and no bite at all.

You should understand this is purely a move of the recording company. Usually, the musicians are not involved in this crap

And hey, I need Opeth, lots of people do . In fact, I wouldn't mind Mikael leaving Bloodbath so he saves his growling skills.

I forgot about Pain... As long as he isn't allowed lending a hand during the writing process, I'd take him. Normally I'd prefer Akerfeldt's throaty growls but Tagtren's higher pitch makes for a more dynamic listen.
ChibiDemigod - 12.08.2011 at 03:39
Oldest!...
They need new material no re-release but I will enjoy it! :banger:
Zombie - 12.08.2011 at 06:04
Akerfeldt in Bloodbath > Akerfeldt in Opeth

Bloodbath with Tagtren > Bloodbath with Akerfeldt

Bloodbath in general > Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy > Opeth

and Pain sucks.

Nice! I literally agree 100% with that.

Do you mean their debut release (Breeding Death) or debut album (Resurrection...) since there's a difference in sound between them. Both have bite IMO. Especially Resurfuckingrection.
DreadfulYgg - 13.08.2011 at 11:58
I like Bloodbath but to suggest that their music is somehow more interesting than what Opeth are doing/have done baffles me. Only Bloodbath's first and second albums impressed me at all. To me, they're now just a decent, albeit generic death metal band.

Sort of like Opeth. (Ba-zing!)
blackdoomy - 14.08.2011 at 12:56
We are waiting from 2008 till now to hear this.... well if they are working on the Opeth's album, release it then work on Bloodbath's album..
I swear we will wait!!

Well, when I say debut I always mean their first full lenght. But yeah, their first EP is also incredible

Nightmares Made Flesh sounds catchier than the noisy debut actually.
P.S. The EP has a better cover.
Cynic Metalhead - 14.08.2011 at 18:33
Whatever they are doing I still know they'll come up with some awe"fucking"some stuff. I am their blind follower.
AXA - 16.08.2011 at 19:29
I thought peter Tagtren with blood bath do amazing band much more with Akerfeldt ... because peter have pure brutal death metal voice as every one can hear ...and blood bath with peter has won in 2004 best album
but with Akerfeldt thy dont .. i like them all and i worship opeth with Akerfeldt and Hypocrisy with peter Tagtren
and i love blood bath with Akerfeldt but i love it more with peter Tagtren . i think peter Tagtren is a good of brutal death metal .
