Swedish black metal band Watain announced new tour dates and will be playing two exclusive and very special shows in Sweden in celebration of their 13 years of existence as a band.

The band posted the following on their official website: "And so it is that the darkness of autumn has come upon us again. The European touring cycle for Lawless Darkness begun in the spring of 2010 and shall end in November 2011, which also marks the 13 Year Anniversary of Watain. With this in mind, we are very proud to announce that two exclusive concerts will be performed in Stockholm and Gothenburg in November, together with very special guests that will be announced in due time."

"E comments: Lawless Darkness has brought us to very special places, both physically and spiritually speaking. It has been a constant build, a constant journey. This can obviously be said about the past 13 Years as well, and the evolution of Watain itself. It feels perfect to have the grand final of the European tour cycle -and celebrate our 13th year- on Swedish soil, and we look forward to make these two performances the most memorable ones in ages."

"We are very pleased to announce that Japan will be struck by the Devil's wrath in October, when Watain will pay its first visit to the far eastern shores and grant new light to the rising sun of holy damnation! Three dates have been confirmed. As many of you have already heard, the entire Soundwave Revolution festival, supposed to take place in Australia in September, was cancelled. Watain have now been offered to perform at the February edition of Soundwave instead, which will take place in February/March 2012. Dates are to be announced in about a month from now."
