| Listening now! Almost like Portugal. The Man meets BTBAM meets Cynic. I love it! Excited for the EP! Interesting interview too. |

| Such a beautiful and tranquil song. <3 Not very prog, I have to say, but Im sure the other songs on the EP will be though! |

|
| Excellent song! I can hear lots of tribal influences here. |

|
|
| That cover is pretty badass |
|
|
|
| The song seems really post rock and new age, the band has certainly moved into a very different scene than what focus was in |

The whole EP is totally different.
I don't know that I like it all that much. I'll have to listen to it again. |

Tribal, new age, progressive metalcore... Do I really want to listen to this after reading those comments? Not at all.
Sick cover art though. |

As if I haven't listened to the entire EP yet. Oh well |

| The vocals are horrible. I closed the window halfway through the track >.> |

REALLY? Worse than usual? Ugh... |

| This is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. It's beautiful. Masvidal's voice isn't masked by any vocoder effect. Don't listen to what anyone says. Listen and think what you want of it. I'm excited that Cynic's music is becoming more and more beautiful. |

I'd say try it out for yourself and see what you think instead of taking what we say at face value. Cheers! |

Oh I will, but it's probably gonna be more for the lulz than anything else. Cynic have never released anything good. |

Oh really? That's too bad. You're not even one of those elite bros who only listens to pre-Focus demos, haha? |

Not even an elitist, no. They've just never done anything to impress me. |

I understand. To each their own. |

Mmm...I'm not sure if I immediately like it. But, I'd rather hear the band do what they want than to hear then try to please a selection of people by purposely playing what everyone would expect, which is selling out and degrades the quality of the music often imo.
As for the music, the songwriting has improved a lot since focus, but for those who enjoy more riff based stuff like Focus (not that focus was very straightforward in this aspect), then you're probably not gonna like this as much. The songwriting in focus was more of riffs and guitar harmonies stacked one after another, and this song flows together better as a whole song if you know what I'm saying. |

| Just finished listening to this. I guess Cynic want to be known as Coldplay. |
