Yep. If you walk up to a Japanese person over here and call them a Jap, they will be offended. I honestly don't know why, I think it began as a derogatory term after Pearl Harbor was attacked. It's funny because you shorten Japanese, you make a racist comment. You shorten Jewish...you just get a Jew. |

I've been reading about Lolita culture quite a bit the last few months; it's quite lovely, especially the Goth and Elegant Loli, but it's probably not something I would or could wear I was expressing my dissatisfaction with men who look better than women in women fashion, being quite envious about their elegance. Now I'm relieved |

Actually, I disagree. Black metal was supposed to oppose Christianity, so it has some connection with it, at least on some level.

Yup! During WWII, there was mega paranoia in our country when it came to Japanese folks. In fact, Japanese-Americans were rounded up and sent to "camps" in fear of any of them being Japanese spies! Pretty much ruined tons of innocents lives because of it! FUCK YEAH. AMERICA ROCKS. >:[ |
