US metallers Devildriver are already in the process of writing their sixth album, according to guitarist Jeff Kendrick, who issued the following update on his personal twitter account: "Mike Spreitzer (guitar), John Boecklin (drums) and myself have begun the process of writing the 6th Devildriver album! Excited to get going!"
The new album will be the follow-up to 2011's Beast.

| I actually really surprised by Beast, although its shallowness made the album mostly forgettable. I'm curious what route Devildriver decides to take themselves musically with this one. |

I wouldn't hold my breath, especially considering the fact that there has been a relatively short period between the release of Beast and this. Not too much time to get inspired, so to speak. |

| The only was this could interest me is if Pantenemy tried to do something less derivative. |
