22:59 - !J.O.O.E.! Interesting. BTC draws a lot of influence from Mexican culture (might be some bands from there too). Will have to look into that movement / scene.
22:58 - 3rdWorld @Red Maybe the ones who can write a solid record I guess instead of writing a good opener and then stuffing the rest of the album with fillers.
22:57 - moonflash Apparently this underground black metal circle buisness is a thing, I discovered a similar label from Mexico, need to look into it further though. [link]
22:53 - Redn1ght How does anyone dare to release an album with shitty songs at the start staring at your face? :p
22:52 - !J.O.O.E.! Btw, I usually update this thread whenever something new from the group pops up [link]
22:49 - !J.O.O.E.! Yeah as comps go it's one of the best I've heard. The first 3 tracks aren't great but the rest are gold.
22:49 - 3rdWorld @Joe That seems to be a really interesting comp from Crepusculo negro. Of course I should've seen it coming, its the label that Arizmenda is on. Browsing music through labels is really fun.
Finnish metallers Kalmah have issued the following update on their official website:
"After inspiring hunting season Kalmah has found new keyboard player. We welcome Swamplord Veli-Matti Kananen (One Morning Left) on board! Velski has already played session gigs with us in Russia and Switzerland so we knew his skills and most of all his state of mindlessness.
We have started to write material for next album and so far we have 4 songs on the way - fast and fucked. New video will be shot next summer with mosquitos and Finnish swamp soil. Song for the video has already been chosen. Studio sessions will take place at the end of this year."
Meh I hope 12 Gauge didn't serve as inspiration for their new album. I'm drifting away from this genre, but I still hope Kalmah will come back in force and retake their signature sound.

Finally some good news Kalmah have never failed to deliver and I have faith in them. Can't wait And I know the video clip will be as silly, insane and Finnish as 12 Gauge was...But that's the way Kalmah works!
