Borknagar - New Drummer Joins The Ranks

Norwegian black metallers Borknagar have announced the addition of new drummer Baard Kolstad to the band. Baard will take over duties replacing David Kinkade, who parted ways with the band last year. He joins, having been discovered by Vortex in the spring of 2011 while recording in Toproom Studio with a band. After this, both Borknagar and ICS Vortex were asked to participate in the anniversary recording of Metallica's Black Album, and as Asgeir Mickelson was unavailable, Vortex called up Baard and asked him to play on the song.

And here I thought I was going to get to read more. Well (real)metal bands tend to cover Metallica songs better than metallica can play them, and I quite enjoy Vortex. May have to check it out.

Yes this is about a new borknagar drummer, oh well. I'd be lying if I said I gave a fock about that.
