US avantgarde metallers Pelican have made their new EP Ataraxia/Taraxis available for streaming online in its entirety at this location. Ataraxia/Taraxis will be released on April 10th through Southern Lord Recordings.
Well, I will not argue with that for I had the same feeling. They've obviously done better, but I think it deserves a careful listen before doing some harsh judges I might regret. Hopefully this will get me back to them.

I love Pelican, I'm not saying it's bad, it just wasn't great I agree it needs more listens though, it might be a grower.
