Great song. Has a rockin' quality that almost reminds me of Fly By Night material. This album promises to be of equal (or even better) quality to Snakes and Arrows.

Never previously had the pleasure of listening to Rush, certainly enjoyed this song, though. The singer gives me a serious, Operation Mindcrime-era Geoff Tate vibe (though that may just be me).

Yes, this was released for streaming yesterday and should be released on radio today. This song is amazing and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the album and see the tour. I really think this will be their best album in maybe decades.

This album is shaping up to be their best since Grace Under Pressure. Most anticipated release of the year (just infront of Storm Corrosion).

I think it's the reverse case - Geoff Tate is more likely to give you a Geddy Lee vibe

Love it. Geddy is sounding good, both bass and vocals. Rush: the reason why more people don't think that Canada sucks for hard rock! :/

Not that there aren't some good Canadian rock bands, but many of the classics have been long forgotten by many.

For sure. I think we need to promote Nickelback some more. Can't let the world forget!

Not a big rush fan but this sounds similar to their old stuff while providing a modern edge, cool to see a classic band pull off a new release well.

I'm pretty sure Nickelback are more famous than Rush. The only thing Rush have on Nickelback is longevity.

+1 to Trolling?

To be honest though, I actually have listened to more Nickelback songs than Rush songs. I only ever really enjoyed Tom Sawyer, and some other song with weird numbers or letters. XYZ1122 or something?

Nah, screw Nickleback. All of their air time on the radio should go to Billy Talent, the true Canadian rockers, yeah!

If you liked YYZ and/or 2112 by Rush you might also like Hemispheres. Then again you just might not care that much for Rush, but that album and song is amongst their best. The golden era of interesting hard prog albums, before the 80s turned them to shit. Particularly the title track and La Villa Strangiato.

Don't worry bud, I was just trying to get some Rush fans' hate.

I'm more than positive prog rock legends are more popular than some seminal alt-rock posterboy band. Although currently Nickelback are possibly more radio relevant due to the time difference, they don't hold a candle to the fanbase Rush have developed.

The song is not bad, but it's hardly great. Then again, Rush haven't been great since the 80's.

Also, I don't doubt that Nickelback are more famous than Rush.
