It is now possible to pre-listen to the upcoming new album Rise Of The Phoenix from Finnish melodic death metallers Before The Dawn along with written song-by-song comments by Tuomas Saukkonen at this location. Rise Of The Phoenix will be released on April 27th via Nuclear Blast Records. More album details were previously reported here.

Good background noise.
Same shit different album.
No change stylistically with the exception of no more clean vocals. Apparently that was the big shift into "pure" melodeath. |

Stronger melodies than on Deathstar though. I can kind of hear Lars still haunting his songwriting at times but sounds OK. |

I'd like to hear Lars on vocals... luckily, Winds are apparently writing some new stuff.
